AIM MSN or ICQ

I was just wondering what IM program most of you use?

I know that MSN seems to be used more in Europe while AIM is used more in the U.S.

Also, those of you with an ungodly amount of buddies, do you chat to most of them/them chat to you or are alot of them just takin up space?

i doubt people who have 100+ "buddies"talk to all of them on a regular basis. I remeber i used to have like 170 on AIM, but really at the most i would talk to only 35-40....so now i only have around that number

Adding up Yahoo, AIM, and MSN.. over 250, only talk to about 35 though. When I lived in Germany everyone used MSN, now that I live in the US, its all about AIM.

I'm in Australia, I use msn.

Around 170 contacts, I talk to maybe 20 of them regularly and the others just occasionally when they're online.

I'm from Romania so I have Yahoo. I used to have about >100 but I saw no point in keeping all those people, but they still have my id so when they want to talk to me they can. I got about 40 now.

I have AIM and Yahoo, together they add up to about 20 people, but I only talk to like 5 regularly.

I agree. Every few months or so I delete people off my buddylist that aren't either amazingly hot, or that I don't talk to. The number usually drops from anywhere between 200-300 all the way down to around 100 or even down to the 50's.


I get random people IMing me, we'll talk once or twice, and I'll forget about them.
