the average person is said to lose one to two hundred hairs a day. people shed their hair. they grow back. it's when it starts to NOT grow back or grow back thinner and thinner that you have a problem.

ok then my hair looks thin, but it hasnt started receding yet. i get at least a comment a day from people saying they can see my scalp/ i look bald lol

Given enough light you can see anyones scalp through their hair. You probably have naturally thin strands of hair or sparse hair, everyones different. You can change your hairstyle to show less scalp, my point? See a hairdresser.just so suave said:
