Basically it's not smart to view yourself, as a beginning Don Juan, as an "average frustrated chump".
The labels you accept for yourself determine the course of your evolution. If you believe you ARE an AFC, that's what you'll become more of.
It's much saner to view yourself as a 'DJ-to-be'. It's also more compassionate towards the rest of the world, populated by men who will all one day (if you believe in reincarnation and/or cultural progress) become high quality men.
When you join this forum, you get promoted to a "Don Juan". You don't get demoted to an "AFC". That is reminiscent of this truth.
I feel we should really drop this terminology altogether. Looking at yourself or others as an AFC is really not helpful. You instantly feel more compassionate towards the scores of poor men out there when you see them as Don Juan's to be. After all, this is really a movement towards becoming better men. Some men have awoken to this call. Many have not. But one day, all will have.
We are all becoming.
