We often see wealthy people holding books, but do they actually read them? Or are they just showing You what to do in order to "not" be successfull? Reading isn’t bad, but doing it without purpose leads nowhere.

Too much reading, too much information, can be harmful. Read only what you truly need. At the time you need.
The only thing that separates an active person from a passive one is action.

Did you need books or videos to take your first step?
No.
Did you need knowledge to understand mistakes?
Yes.
Once you’ve learned, go back to action. Apply it.

Action is life
Thought makes us human, but thought is useful only when paired with action.
Think while acting, not instead of acting

Working at a computer can give the illusion of doing, but it's often just thinking without movement
Even a waiter learns key social skills by simply doing.

If you have great resources, books, tools, about acting or what made you actually understand this thing, and helped, share them.
But remember: 10 minutes a day for reading, the rest should be for action.

ha ha, refer to your first sentence in this. it sounds like you should at least be holding a book to be seen holding it.

there is enough time in each day to read and take action. don't have to choose one or the other.

Yeah... You're unlikely to become a modern day, Italian answer to Joachim Kroll, just by reading biographies of the guy. Actually luring gals into your home, getting them into the oven, then down your gullet is a pre-requisite for earning such a designation
