Has anyone heard of "The truth about 6 pack abs" program? It apparently claims that the traditional ab exercises are actually bad and make abdominal flab even worse? Most cardio is bad for abs? Confused....anyone try this new program...is it hocus pocus scam?

The "program" sounds complete bulls***.

A six pack is a biproduct of low body fat.

You can't be chubby and have a six pack. larger muscle groups may be defined though. Even at a normal bodyfat you will not have abs since fat tends to deposit around your torso.



And you can't make abdominal flab worse with exercise. Spot reduction, or treatment... whatever doesn't work. Ever. The only way to make abdominal flab worse is to put on extra fat because of your diet.

Your abs can be trained to grow just like any other muscle group. You cant spot reduce fat though.

Training your abs is important for core strength and should form part of any balanced workout plan. Its the low bodyfat that brings em out though. Stick to a balanced workout, put some muscle on your frame and keep your BF low.

Then you will have abs and all your problems in life will be solved :)

Its funny how they never mention diet or which foods to avoid in the regimen they rave about....what goes in your body is just as important as the exercises i would think especially for abdominal area
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

The only thing you can do to build your abs is to get your bf% to 10 or less
