"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Would making the date a mystery be a good idea? (as like the 3rd date). Giving her short clues every day until the date (Given that the date has been arrange for a day 2 weeks away). Giving her a prize if she gets it such as 'letting her kiss you'?

What do you guys think?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

i think having a date arranged 2 weeks in advance is too long, also i think that you should be upfront and honest about where the date is

however you could take her to coffee or something and then say you are going to go to blah blah which she didnt know about beforehand

I think making it a mystery shows her you're trying too hard. I mean if you're just trying to tag, the better way might be not telling her what you have planned, but the clues thing is a little much.

Theres a good reason why its 2 weeks away as the end of school exams are on.

So do you think I should just tell her where were goin?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Are you the date? Or is wherever you are going the date?

Reframe that ****. It doesn't matter where you go.

Unless you're engaged to this chick, or want to be, this is so AFC.

Wrong.

Planning something to do on a certain date with a girl that is into you, and not telling her what it is, will have her thinking about it all the time trying to figure it out. She'll think "omg is it something I hate!" or "Omg what if it's something I love!" and go back and fourth on it until she thinks she has it figured out. She’ll also be thinking about everything you guys did together in the last month for clues as to what it might be.

Emphasis on she is already into you

It's all about how you execute it.

You don't sit there and say Lets go out on the 2nd, but oooo i'm noooot gonna ttelll you where, it's a guuuunnnnna be a surprIIIIIIse.

and be all sappy and stupid.

You say "Don't make any plans for this weekend"
She'll ask why
and you say "[insert your own natural evasive answer here]"

I've done it, works well.

they even might think is all cornball and stupid at first! And even say so, but the reaction AFTER the fact is them thinking about it all the time.

If you think something is AFC, or you think something will not work, and you have no personal first had experience trying it or an experience to reference where it failed…then your opinion is worthless. Further, anyone with any amount of experience knows that all women are different to a certain degree and some will respond very well to something like this where some wont. What people who want to be productive should be doing is posted about how something like that has or has not worked for them in practice and why.
