"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

As the topic suggest, in particular towards women and how it defines your outlook, your life, your future and your end game.

A man is the sum of his memories, will you set the terms to define your life, future and outlook before you die ?

A man is the sum of his memories, if you have none, then who are you?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Looks like we actually agree on something. But addition to his memories, there is also the following which really determine the “sum” of a man:

It is what he has learned from those memories and what he has done to expand his knowledge and wisdom to improve himself as a man.

And with his wisdom and experience, has he formed a set of moral beliefs, a philosophy that he adheres to that practices fairness and kindness to his family, the people he loves, and his fellow man.

And does he have the honesty and integrity to live in accordance with the philosophy he believes in? In essence, do his everyday actions reflect the philosophy he espouses?

We can disagree on many things but we r still "brothers" in SS.

Nice post Augustus.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

The more and more I put myself out there and get demoralized a bit, I truly understand what this means.. more so recently, I understand the struggle a man has within himself to except the truth he has to face sometimes. As much as I want to bitter to the reality I face sometimes, I realize it is better to adapt than be upset..

Here's to the process I guess.... (Raises a glass)
