"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hey i'am new to the forum, looker but never posted.I would like some advice on what to do b/c quite frankly i am totally lost on where to begin,so i'll tell you about my self first.

About Me:I am going into my 2nd year of college this fall, finally goin away, had to live at home first yr.In hs i was a loser, and i could never get any chicks to even talk to me,so in esence i never got a chance to get close to one,nor was i invited to any parties or social functions, but i always had my small group of friends, who were misfits like me.I also am overweight.I do have a severe lack of confidence, that i have been told everyone can spot from a mile away, and when i have gone up to a girl i never know what to do or say.I don't know where it comes from.I would like to know what i can do about building up said confidence and as well as help as what to do around girls,if i can get advice that would help so much, and i think i do have a couple things that are good:I drive a fairly new Accord EX,i make some money as a car detaler and i have been told a times i can be witty at least being among friends.Any advice will be appreciated and will awnser any ?'s if needed.

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Join a fraternity. You will learn how to be social, and they will have events where sororities party with you.

Learn by experience. That is what you will do.

Just make sure you can get into the fraternity. Don't be shy, and be talkative to all the brothers.

I second the fraternity idea, my life has definitely changed since joining. Why thrive on the negatives? It's good that you are looking to improve yourself. You're already ahead of 90% of the crowd. Now, read the bible, learn some things, and get out there and talk to people. I don't care who it is, go up to a stranger and start the conversation. RUN the conversation. If you're insecure about your weight, goto the gym and go on a diet. All it takes is will power. Once you start doing these things, and see that you have willpower, you will no longer be insecure.
