"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

A flying maroon coloured sausage-cigar shaped object went across my room and into a void

I was lying down and saw this velvety textured, maroon coloured cigar shaped object (ie minature indoor UFO) fly across my bedroom, about a few feet above me and into a void before my window.

My reaciton was it was not entertaining enough and immediately continued scrolling on youtube.

This happened about a number of months ago (can't remember), yet the recollection is vivid, especially how TEXTURED it appeared, and how it followed a straigt line path with an oddly consistant speed. The correct action would have been to freak out, attempt to touch object, but I felt like there was a peaceful fog all over me and I could only look at that thing but not really move. In fact, by the time there was a reaction that I may have made a movement, the whole thing already dissappeared into a void. (ie no void or portal could be visibly seen by the window, you just saw the object disappear by moving into it rather than it fading into space, etc...).

The reaction to this was that this was not entertaining enough. It's just an object moving in one direction across the room. That has no entertainment value other than appearing out of place with reality. Am I missing something? It has no relevancy, no reason for doing that, it does not compute.

Nothing of the sort has been since since that time.

But I feel there is always good content on youtube or other places to watch rather than worrying about a non-event. Maybe some probe got lost and went to the wrong house. Stupid.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You are missing the reaction. It may have been programmed to be sedating, but most people would still have a delayed reaction. If something supernatural happens and you are completely nonchalant about it, might be something to reflect on OP.

I don't want to give it the satisfaction of making it think it got me scared, better to mock it as not entertaining enough.

Maybe it wasn't hostile though. Maybe it was like the black monolith in Space Odyssey. Some kind of positive impetus.

Something going through your bedroom, and invading your personal space, is not hostile?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Is it going to slide in to your dm's on Instagram? How else is it going to get your attention?

Maybe it should hide in the bushes on the corner and hope that one day you see it.

Cigar shaped UFO's are a common sighting, when they are in the air. While on examination online, there are instances where people see these "micro UFOs" within indoor spaces, it's less mainstreamed compared to more ariel phenomina and disclosure.

If you encountered a UFO, would you feel more comfortable seeing one in the sky and hovering around or minature version of one inside of your home? People are scared when it comes to ariel UFOs enough, but you don't hear the same level of fright with indoor minature versions, like they don't register the same way. You would have aliens the size of ants?

@corrector "I was lying down and saw this velvety textured, maroon coloured cigar shaped object (ie minature indoor UFO) fly across my bedroom, about a few feet above me and into a void before my window"

That object is life itself, speaking to you in metaphor: "I've been slipping away from you for awhile, hoss... Catch up with me, before your fuel tank hits empty"

I implore you to listen up

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
