"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Not too big, but thought it was strange. I tried calling this girl I've been talking to for about a month last night around 11. She didn't answer so I hung up. Within 30 minutes she called me back. Sounded tired and told me that she was lying in bed. I just let her go and told her that I would call her back tomorrow. I just thought it was weird that she wanted to let me know what she was doing. She lives at home, so I know she wasn't out ****ing like some of you will suggest.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

what was the moral of this story?

- after she didn't answer, you shouldn't have answered your phone. it shows you are readily available, while she, by comparison is not.

- why were you calling her again? i hope it was to set up a date and nothing else.

- don't call her back tomorrow like you said you would.

who cares if you look too available or not? What mattered was you should've set up a date when having a chance talking with her.

I don't know, but it did sound like an invitation for a late night bang ...

sure, that would have made you too available, made her control you by choosing the time she wanted to have sex, blah, blah ... but then again, when compared to a night spent alone, the late night bang sounds a lot better
