Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Yeah, that seems to go along with not ever having been on a date and with girl never wanting anything to do with you...Originally posted by marketboy
Are you a virgin?
I'd rather not. My picture is not good; and I'd rather not have anything here get back to me.Originally posted by saki
can we see a picture of you chancer?
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Thats ridiculous. It would not help me anyways. For one thing, the act of paying for sex would just lower my self-esteem even further. For another, I don't have any sex drive at all really. What bothers me is that I can't meet anyone normally, not that I don't.Originally posted by marketboy
damn Chancer
I would pay for it.
I don't think thats going to help me. If people don't interact with you to begin with, this is not even a factor.Originally posted by marketboy
Also, how hung are you?
If you're hung, you have a chance at getting girls.
Measure that ****
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
I really don't want to post a picture. I'm embarrased by how I look, even if I dress up nice. Just picture the ugliest guy in the room.please show us what you look like because maybe we can give you some pointers on looking your best.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
I used to think I was the ugliest guy in the room. Then this really nice girl came along and showed me that I WAS the ugliest guy in the room.Originally posted by chancer357

Its a catch-22. I feel horrible about myself all of the time. How am I supposed to be confident or even pretend to be? When I try to do stuff socially I fail because of this and everything gets worse. What she is looking at is your demeanor; how you stand, how you hold yourself, etc. If you have no confidence in yourself you are not going to stand like a man with confidence and that is the first thing EVERY woman is going to notice.
You cannot pretend to be confidence, women will catch on to that immediatly.Originally posted by chancer357

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
