Like Abbott said, TV rots your brain. IMO the 1% that's good would be comedy. Not like Simpsons or Family guy, but stand up comedy performances because you can actually gain somehing from it.

Don't worry about it, you'll recover from that. My reputation was probably 10 times worse than yours, but I made my way back up. Don't try to prove that you're better, just be better and people will keep noticing. Their view of you as an AFC will slowly crumble as they see more of your inner DJ.
