    Is there anything bad about having a high-sodium diet? It seems like a lot of the "fat-free" or "lowfat" meats get loaded with salt.

    I know it's important to get sleep etc, but...Sometimes exams don't wait for sleep. So, is there anything I can eat/drink (or anything I can do, for that matter) that's legal and at least semi-healthy (i.e. not pop or coffee) that would help keep me awake for studying? I'm having trouble...

    during lunch there's this kid who eats: 2 - 4 breadsticks, 1 piece of pizza, 2 Powerades, 1 bag of chips, 4 (4!) LARGE choc. chip cookies..and he's skinny as a twig! no this post doesn't really have a point other than to vent my resentment towards people with superior metabolism :mad:

    Breakfast foods?

    I've been wondering for a while...Certain foods (eggs, sausage, oatmeal, etc.) are supposed to be breakfast foods. Is there any nutritional basis for this? Basically what I'm wondering is, would it be just as good to eat a chicken breast with a salad for breakfast as it would any other time...

    How Much Rest is Enough Rest?

    I'd like to add a question to this...Say you have 2 "off" days in a row where you're not training. If basically all I do those days is sit on my ass in front of the comp/play videogames and not really do any activity to speak of, is it okay to get less rest? Like 5-6 hours or something?

    bit of a dilemma (advice for routine?)

    here's my situation: I only have access to a gym and weights/machines once a week. Should I alternate 1-2 body parts each week or try to get all or most of them done in the one day? Should I do push-ups/crunchies/etc. on some of the other days and if so how often, etc.

    Calling all fat guys!

    Nice post, good luck to all with their resolutions. My "regimen" if you can even call it that just involves me doing normal exercises like crunchies, push-ups, etc, cutting the junk food out of my diet and reducing intake of starches and fruit, increasing lean protein intake (usually chicken)...

    I know it depends a lot on genetics and stuff but what bf% would you estimate most "average" people can start seeing a 6pack? Or at what % did you get your 6pack (whether your genes are good or bad)?
