I've noticed this as well. I always seem to hit this point at around 2-3 months in with a new plate after which I tend to lose them as I'm not really looking to commit.
It's simple really. You go through phases:
Phase 1 - straight after breakup: using no contact to protect your heart from further pain and agony.
Phase 2: using no contact as a way to shift your attention from thinking about her all day every day to improving yourself, becoming a better person...
So basically you're:
- a part of the **** carrousel by laying women but not committing
- hating the ladies who ride the **** carrousel
Stop hating the game.. just get better at it ;-)
First things first:
If the first 2 dates only "went ok", why would you want to spend more time with this woman? Seems to me you're somewhat desperately seeking a relationship. You should have cut the strings on this one after two "ok" dates imho.

When we talk about HB7 etc are we talking physical appearance only? If this isn't the case then surely marrying someone and labeling her a HB7 is pure madness? That's...
Two things spring to mind:
1- You're trying way too hard to be funny. Comedy=context. I can tell that the responses you were given were not congruent with your personality (i.e. if this was a date you would never say that.. not saying the line was shiz (which it is btw ;-) but it's all...
I had a sweet date yesterday and wanted to hear your opinions on one of the brainfarts I was having this morning:
I've been spinning plates for the past 6 months now and enjoying every aspect of life however on my date yesterday with one of the new plates I found myself thinking:
- How do...
@samspade:
Solid post. The words "worked on the relationship" struck a cord with me as I was one of these guys once. Had a feeling my gf was cheating on me and I uttered those same words.. needless to say it wasn't one of my proudest moments :-)
