I don't think you understand anything, huge guy... after you get better with women they become less of a driving factor, and more of an additional hobby. Life isn't just about getting laid, though it is one of the nicer diversions.

They are slightly related... if you have the guts to try things that really scare you it WILL be slightly easier to do new things (like approaching women). Women, however, have power to affect ones self-image (if you let them), which is far more dangerous than getting mauled by a bear.

I agree w soma (though i can't wait to get in a bad mood to try the last bit). Internal monologue is also very important... if you keep it positive, you'd be surprised how much more fun you have in life. It's made a difference for me already.

Not to mention if you try going out one night just to get rejected (not doing anything stupid, just hitting on anything that moves), you may find that a) you have more fun cause you don't care, b) you might be surprised at a few successes, c) you feel great cause you're trying this ****...

Most ppl are oblivious when walking through school hallways; I know i'm usually concentrating on something else. Don't sweat it. On the other hand, if you need a confidence booster, everytime the rare woman looks at you, immediately tell yourself "she liked the way i looked" or something...

I think he's referring to not letting women see negative emotions when they neg hit him (or play other mind games). I agree most emotions are great, but when a woman sees that she has an effect on a guy w some game it ruins his chances. I've been trying to have a what the hell attitude, and...

Heh I agree w tom, why not try and learn... not only will it show self-confidence, i bet you'd have a lot of fun, too (w the right approach)... plus clubs are so dark and smoky no one will care at all...

I also agree, a GOOD wingman can be a blessing (though make sure he knows what a wingman is, i could tell some stories)... but don't worry if you are alone, it shows real courage to go up to someone when you're alone (no moral support), and most women won't immediately think you're a loser...
