"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Does personality even matter?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

So if all you care about is sex? Pay for it and drive on. Seriously.

@The Duke is spot on in this thread....and I too have seen men without attractiveness on their side charm their way into seduction, like @Gamisch said.

Seduction is much more interesting and fun than what you are doing OP. But seduction requires paying attention to your target, learning her likes & dislikes, learning how she "ticks".

You really don't seem to have the patience for that. So pay an escort & call it good. If you want to learn seduction, read Art of Seduction and pay attention to Anti-Seductive behaviors (there is a whole chapter on this)....you are unwittingly doing anti seductive things and you are way too formulaic. This ain't algebra dude.

dude go back and reread your post .
I don’t wanna copy and paste it yet again.
I’ve edited my last post there. Read the endy bit it’s the important part re DARK TRIAD and also about DOMINANCE being the acfual most important and most attractive ‘personality ‘ trait the women respond to in a man they find physically attractive.

And none of you guys have mentioned it so far.
It’s Allpha Male vs Beta male stuff.

The tall Alpha guy is highly assertive he just uses frame control to dominate and lead.

Or else the shorter Alpha guy uses his social IQ and machiellian mind to dominate and lead more mentally .

BOTH Alpha types will be HANDSOME.
Because being HANSOME is an Alpha trait.
Good genetics = alpha genes.

The Beta guy tries to Game with his ‘personality’ .
And falls for the womans bullsh1t about needing ‘that connection first’ - while she investigates his possible other resources . In detail. It’s a con job for her to buy the time to play detective and get the sucker to open up. So she can have a real good look, really easily. Cos “guys are easy” to women bro . “Guys are so dumb” .
You're clearly on the spectrum and / or trolling.

You had me for a good minute tho!

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

@Cheeky_James The way you want this game to work only works when you are extremely attractive. Lots of social proof and money can help as well but superior looks is the ultimate driver.

Oviously you don't have superior looks as most of us don't, so its critical that you develop other traits/characteristics that women find attractive. It seems like you refuse to do that.

You want to exert little effort and have pu$$y served on a silver platter. The best advice I can give you is to visit your local escort and pull out $200. I don't imagine you would need more than 30minutes.

Dude consider this
If this is the game strategy

Let’s call it EverythingMaxxing approach.
(Ive copied this from another post by Gamisch)

-Patience maxxx
-Money maxxx.
-Fitness maxxx
-Mental health maxxx
-Social skill maxxx
-Touch grass maxxx
-Self esteem maxxx

Right? Roughly speaking.

Now, take an example of an average woman call her Jane .who has had 3 LTRs by age 30 and those relationships did not work out.

Ask her why , and the answer will always be
“He turned out to be xyz” , too boring, too controlling, too mentally unstable, too lazy, too something. right ?

And if the success rate of marriage is about 50/50 also .

what does that tell you about a womans requirement for that certain right set of ‘personality traits’ and her ability to detect and judge personality?

And how important was ‘personality’ when she first met him .. if he “turned out” to have another personality after X number of years?

Answer me that question , (all of youse)
Use your brain guys.

a womans primary interest in a man is sexual interest.

women choose men primarily and most largely based on their sex appeal initially, at the start of any relationship
.

thepersonality is discovered later in the relationship. And if his actual complete personality does not work for her 1 year, 2 years, 3 years more into the relationship , they break up or divorce and she moves on . To another guy with similar sex appeal.

And usually a different personality

and then another guy, with yet a different personality .

so when women say they “have a type”
it’s a Looks Type .
Not a personality type.

Because personality doesn’t really matter that much early days, when engaging in the fvcking-like-rabbits dating phase , the first year or so.
It’s all about having lots of sex and good times.
As that’s how Mother Nature wants it to happen , to make more children and propagate the species.
The guy just has to have any generic pleasant personaility.

Now guys,
please try and pick this example of Jane and her 3 LTRs . And proce me wrong about the rest of it.

re your assertion that personality matters to any significance is so much more correct.

Thanks. CJ

That actually looks like a really good read. And makes me think yet again that I should write something. HA!

If you're wanting to get down and nerdy with it, charisma is the OP stat for the ladies. An entire chapter is written about it in "Think and Grow Rich." The original version and earlier versions of the book don't equate it to charisma, but with the editors' comments in later versions admit definitions of 'force of attraction and s3xual energy' = "Charisma" and 'auto suggestion' to self hypnosis.

The thing that makes me perhaps different (I wasn't engineered with the "Doesn't matter, she's hot" feature.), personality matters a whole heck of a lot. It matters more for men in my opinion. If you aren't interesting, eclectic, different, conspicuous, or somewhat eccentric even, you'll find it hard to instantly have the ability to walk up to someone YEARS later and they remember you even if you've gained/lost weight or dress and groom differently.

I actually was sort of genetically gifted (Not height-wise, but facial features, metabolism, physicality and skin) and I thought that was my greatest asset. I couldn't understand why I had so much trouble. What finally 'clicked' for me I guess was realizing that I can still be as nerdy as I want to be and not have a 'shyness that is criminally vulgar.' Instead of being a recluse, I became an adventurer. I started 'playing' life like it was one of my old DOS games. It's actually EASIER to be a nerd out in the open world.

FAFO. Just don't be a dum dum pop about it. Obviously, you wouldn't climb Everest as your first peak, and you wouldn't want to hop on a Hayabusa with 0 protective gear on and 0 riding experience. There's a difference between being an adventurer and being reckless. Personality matters a WHOLE heck of a lot. When I spot someone who has a unique take on something instead of a polar extreme I can't wait one second to compliment them on having this illusive thing called a personality!

Sure, being a tall chisled stud can help I guess, but if you're boring, you're boring. I've seen really charming guys who are 6'3" break down and cry over this shyte. If it were 99% about looks and being tall, then they'd have to carry a medieval mace around to not get mauled by women. I've even seen one of my best friends who you wouldn't ever think of as a DJ never have an issue with women. All but two ladies I've been with (both of those slept with both of us.) has remarked "HIM?! I just don't get how ANY woman would want to be with him! *insert retching noise here*"

He started balding around 24, until just two years ago, he's ben fat, lazy, crude tattoos, didn't graduate HS (got his GED), he's the nuttiest of all conspiracy theorists TO conspiracy theorists, he couldn't hold a job, didn't have a car, sometimes went 3-4 days without showering, most of the times he wore tattered T shirts, flip flops, a beanie and punk metal jewelry. I could go on an on about the things that you'd THINK most women RUN FROM. But he lost his virginity at (I can't remember if it was 013 or 014 << just in case the REAL number gets flagged for some reason), he has a large peener, and he's really funny. Just being around him, he's the kind of guy that can give you really helpful advice, you just want to LIKE HIM. Like instantly. I've met a lot of guys like that. Some people say I'm like that too.

He even still effs around with ladies fairly often. Not exactly the most moral or faithful thing to do when you've got a family, but that dude has the "code" cracked. He also isn't good at coaching people to that level though. I had to stop listening to advice from people and that's when I got better. I started being ME. Person. Personal. Uh.... PERSONALITY!

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I will add yours to The List buddy ;) :D
It does piss me off this personality thing.
As it’s so vague and such a broad category , with so many elements, to then try to interpret which are the most EFFECTIVE traits for increasing the odds of getting it on.

I do think a fair bit of the list is unnecessary personally , both for SNL hookups OR early stages of regular dating w intention.

This developing rapport stuff comes later on in the dating and courting process

And the other suggested terms are just too vague to be useful. Eg ‘good conversation skills ‘ or ‘normal conversation’ .

can’t remember if anyone has mentioned sense of humour yet or not. And that’s a huge one.

Does personality even really matter .. for hookups most likely not at all ,
and for relationships.?. maybe even not really that much either possibly?, I mean the mask slips off women after x time period in a relationship anyway… we’ve all experienced that.
It matters and it doesn’t. It is complicated to explain it because personality doesn’t overwrite the main funadamental of attraction: value. But at the same time it matters a lot for social things. Pick up and game is a social thing. Personality is created around socialization. So it is really difficult to say it doesn’t matter.

it matters , but which personality traits , and how much does it matter as a % piece of the pie.
Some say it’s only 10%.
And they may be right.
Makes a person wonder why there is so much discussion and debate , about a 10% slice of the pie.

Edit; guys will say “just be confident”
Yes. Sure , go in with high confidence.
But you have to hold and maintain that confidence throughout, and the chick will likely test it repeatedly. To see if it’s real or if it crumbles.

Which is the harder part,
And after confidence the next step may be ‘connect’ or build rapport.
But how much connection is required? and rapport over what types of things?
What is “best practices’ here…?

If 2 people are going to have a ONS
Not much connextion is really needed.

some guys can pull-to-sex in 30 mins.
Some in much less time.

think about that….

I’ve personally CaveManned chicks very quickly .
Caveman style pickups. With minimal connection meet-to-sex.

Imo the best way to think about it is the old PUA advice /maxim of;

“start at the end , and work backwards”

only ‘game’ as much as you actually need to.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

It really is not like that simple, where you can make a % representation of it like 10 % o whatever. Personality is so involved in your life that many mental disease are based on personality disorder. Depression and being unable to handle emotions which is critical to game maybe all be rooted in a personality disorder. Personality is more than just being charismatic or certain trait like that. Personality is almost everything related with you at every ****ing second. Masculinity must be ingrained into your personality since early child so a lack of masculinity which leads to sexual failure is also lack of that ingridient into your personality.
However is very true women accept many trauts of personality as long as values are into place. I have seen crazy guys weird guys with personality trait that you won’t say is attractive and yet women are with those guys. Things like being funny.” I am just not funny”
That is all superficial thing. Something depeer is underneath related to personality and temperament. But as I said it does not overwrite value. The most important concept in game
