"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I read this in the book - ‘ Don’t sweat the small stuff’, to wake up an hour earlier so you can have more ‘ me time’ during the day. You can have more quiet time, pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea and read a good book, listen to music or read current events etc. Anyone tried this?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

This sort of idea is really popular right now and it's nonsense.

You cannot outsmart Father Time. There's no such thing as gaining more time. Any attempt to gain more time just causes you to lose more time somewhere else.

All these people who talk about things like waking up at 3am and "starting their day" before everyone else don't seem to acknowledge they are also ending their day sooner (unless they enjoy chronic sleep deprivation and the early onset dementia that results from it).

And besides, why stop there? Why not wake up at 11pm and beat out the competition by working on the next day before it even starts?

This sort of logic fails with any examination.

I will say the idea of not rushing things might be valid - giving yourself some breathing room probably lowers stress and all that which is good. But that depends on your preferences and lifestyle. Personally, I prefer to work from home and wake up literally 5-10 minutes before I start so I can stay up later in the evening and still get enough sleep. I wake up on the clock, since I'm getting paid for it. You don't get paid for the 1-2 hours you waste before you punch in. That time is gone and you will never get it back.

If we're talking purely about leisure, it still doesn't make a whole lotta sense unless your only goal is to maximize the amount of time you're spending in sunlight. And unless you live in the Arctic circle I think there is plenty of time in any given day to get some sunshine.

I usually only get up extra early for a specific purpose. I might want to get some other work finished up before the office gets busy, or maybe I want to do a project around the house and be done early to enjoy the rest of my day off. But I always try to go to bed early the night before to compensate.

Getting up very early for leisure? It sounds very nice in theory, but I haven’t had any luck with it. My newspaper delivery time is all over the place. Sometimes 3am (great), sometimes 8 am, and sometimes they forget and I get two papers the following day lol. I’d love to go out for an early breakfast but the local diners don’t open until 6am. I’m getting ready for work by then.

I'm lucky if I don't get up an hour later.
Anyway, sleep is important, it's not a good idea to short yourself, especially if you are active physically.

I'm guessing this sort of thing works better for some people than others. I used to work with a guy who only needed about four hours sleep a night, he functioned at a pretty high level so it didn't seem to hurt him any. I couldn't do it though, not long term.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

My neighbor wakes up at 4 and 5 constantly, so I don't even need an alarm to wake up early. Body gets used to it after a while. Going to sleep at midnight and waking up 5 am becomes norm.

5 hours of sleep per night is a great way to get on the path to early onset dementia

This old guy goes to the doc. Doc asks how he's doing. Guy says he's not sure.

"I take a nice healthy p*ss at 7 AM, followed by a healthy dump about about 7:15."

"That's great!" says the doc.

"No it's not," replies the old guy. "I don't wake up until 8!"

Also a great way to destroy your testosterone, increase cortisol and end up fat and having to work 3x as hard as a person sleeping enough.

That's playing health on extreme hard mode. Lack of sleep is literally one of the most stressful things you can do to your body.

Depends on what time you are going to bed.

If waking up and hour early means you are shorting yourself on sleep don't bother.
Too often people forget that time doesn't mean sh1t without energy.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I'll happily opt for waking up at noon and feeling fully refreshed all day without ever needing to nap. If I opted to wake up at 8am without a full nights rest instead, I'm going to be 50% less capable so any of that addtional time I have becomes meaningless when it's spent in a less efficient way.

I find it amusing how morning larks brag about how early they got up but always fail to mention the 2 hour naps they end up taking. And if they are actually getting enough sleep they fail to mention how early they have to end their evenings. The 8pm-midnight window is a great time to get things done.

Op is " retired ". So it makes sense.

I wake up at 5 every day, because we have to start at 7. After the day I have to work out ,run errands, meet women, do administration, clean the crib, cook, be a father, be a family member, be a friend.

Waking up too early can only be done when you got too much time on your hand.

I sleep on average 1930 to 0400. With a 30 min awake spell in the middle.

My theory is that better people are around in morning hours. After 8pm nothing good happens.

The gym is a great social scene, maybe 80 people in from 0530 to 0730..people who go to bed late wouldn't realise this at all and have to contend with the gym being an evening zoo and all the drunks/druggies that get out of bed around 1pm.

I think it is ideal to train & socialise when you are at peak alertness, rather than when winding down for bedtime.

90% of the world's greatest ideas came after 8pm. Morning people are inherently boring.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Donald trump reportedly sleeps 4-5 hours per night.

Arnie mentioned in some motivational speech 6 hours.. and if that’s not enough “jast sleep fasta!”

could be something in it…
