I think most of it stems from the fact that most guys are actually weird. Weird enough that not even other guys want to spend time with them

Some guys are weird, but I think it's simpler than that. I think the way nature is set up is women are designed to be attractive, which triggers the males to desire them. Women are literally designed to be the objects of sexual desire. Men are not, they're designed for protection, providing, and action. The women choose among the men who compete for them/desire them. Of course they want the best they can get. The way the current culture is, and the way they want to remove gender roles, it as set a lot of that on its head, which is why dating dynamics are kind of broken now.

You don't have to visit nightclubs to meet women, great... Hell, I don't frequent such venues now that I've essentially aged out of them, and wasn't even a fan in my teens and 20s. Point remains though, a fella's dating and mating pool will be shallower than Herschel Walker's grasp of nuclear physics, if he confines himself to bowling alleys(No diss: I enjoy this particular activity myself)and D&D cons

If the company of high quality individuals is what you're in the market for, you'll have to meet them wherever they're located

Some enjoy such establishments, same way there are folks who

-Assert The MCU wasn't always whale sh-t, even during it's alleged glory days

-Insist that DiCaprio actually has talent beyond looking prettier than Winselt/Robbie in their respective primes, screaming at the top of his lungs in hamfusted stabs at expressing pathos, conning the general public into thinking he's really hetero

-Believe The Church Committe transformed The CIA into a force for righteousness, and that everything has been going along hunky dory since the bad ol' 70s ended

I'm no more a fan of clubbing than I am in agreement with the points aforementioned, nonetheless these are all my personal preferences/assessments
