I usually get my dates by being myself and acting laid back and casual but I guess this chick was spoiled as usual and it would probably have been a good idea to use a more dominant c0cky and funny tone on her from the ghetko.

There aren't any.

You just flirt, suggest a plan, then ask for her number to take the conversation off the app.

You guys constantly shoot yourselves in the foot by staying on the app and not moving things forward.

Men are always being evaluated socially and sexually whether intentionally or not; there is no complete opt-out from performance.

The interaction took a nosedive as soon as you responded with "lol obviously" since it came across as dismissive and also signaled that you either didn't read her profile or were asking questions you already knew the answer to. When she pushed back with "if you already know why u ask," you became defensive, lost momentum, and had to go into dance monkey dance mode trying to keep the conversation alive.

It is hard to move forward if you do not know how to spark positive emotions. You can't expect miracles when you start with such a negative spike so early on. By the time you got to the yoga talk, you were already trying to recover from a bad first impression rather than building on a good one.

Dang it. I like your wording in that "I just like to be myself." Good. You're comfortable with that and confidence isn't an issue.

The thing that really jumped off the ground and sl@pped me in the face with the entire conversation and the thing I can't unsee is how it resembles a textbook SCAM. Almost word for word.

It really seems like here she may have thought that. The FIRST thing in my mind when I see more than ONE question that asks for information EASILY accessed in a bio, it is a GLARING red flag. In over 90% of my conversations from OLD, in cases where "Where u from?" "How old ru?" It is followed up with requests to connect on whatsapp, kik or some other silly piddly platform or app where you have to essentially start the game over where they'll usually ask scripted questions. In some cases, you'll notice verbatim parallel. Plus, many platforms like those aren't able to really go after fruadsters or scammers.

To be honest, if a woman sent me the kinds of messages you sent her my scammer radar would be on alert. I even stopped bothering with the reply of "If you just read the profile you'd know." I just cut em off right there. "Philippine Computer College?" This makes me want to scream as well. 10 seconds on google shows a first hit of "Permanently closed."

To be honest, my assessment of this "Cate Jo" is pretty direct. "Pass." To each their own. Even if you were going 'blind' on this one, an easy going chick will flirt here. For example, "I'm in philippines, you silly! Is that real name for you?" etc... I'm very curious... How much experience do you have with OLD?

Maybe I'm ornery but as soon as I would read "Curious for what If you read my profile, you well know" women like this tend to be insufferable from my OLD experience and also mean-spirited. Our personalities would not mesh, and I would block with the swiftness

Not harping on OP but speaking in general, if you have a woman give you attitude of the bat, why bother? Why continue? for me, it's a turn off because these women from my experience are mean-spirited and also tend to be ran through thus they don't care about how they come off.

She has no choice does she? You are from the States , you might as well be her ticket to a better life. So reluctantly but yet, she continues the conversation. She would be STUPID to reject you...

Having said that, I PERSONALLY would eject immediately after getting such a response from an hb6 maximum. I can predict with certainty that her behaviour WON'T improve. This cold type of response will get even colder.

Imo you should parade around over there like you are the mafakking king of the universe. You can 10 x if not 100x a woman's quality of life.

I would aim for women with a higher smv, but taste is ofcourse a personal matter.
