It's tough to fault not just women, but society at large holding a less than charitable view of men, we've by and large refused to revamp our public image. I mean, really... I would say for the most part .. yes.
I still put in the flirt , say sexy sh1t, try to relate or connect w them, and do all with a sense of humour and some uniqueness.

Society has now conditioned women to want the top 10-20% of men. But these men are never going to commit or treat them well. They want relationships with these men but the best they can hope to get is a situationship.

When bitter women complain about men always lying and cheating and just wanting sex they are of course talking about the top 10-20% of men.

since there is basically the same number of boys and girls born, it's mathematical impossible for the top 20% of men to form committed relationships with the majority of women -- only short time.

What I meant is that they want the top 10-20% of men in the same way that most guys want to date a model/actress/cheerleader etc. The difference is that a lot of women seem no longer willing or able to settle and I think that has been the change over the past 20 years or so. Before once they passed their high school/college years most of them would grow out of trying to get players to commit and ignoring regular guys. Most regular guys I think when they are ready for a relationship would be content with a girl next door type that they have chemistry and a connection with. Now even when women try to do that they secretly resent the guy and act selfish and entitled as though the guy is lucky to be with them not even considering that the guy is also settling and she's no prize either.

@Slowhandluke people (and especially women) do not think logically. in the same way if you survey a group of people most will think they are above average drivers they think they can be the exceptional woman who can get the man to commit. And that is often the premise of a lot of the romance novels they read. And when they fail repeatedly their reaction is not to try giving regular guys a chance, their reaction is to stay single and get drunk with their girlfriends and complain how men just want sex, dating apps don't work, men are all liars and cheats etc. Until biology takes over and they get pumped and dumped again and the cycle repeats.

Sucks for these women themselves. As men who've commited ourselves to "not settling" for life's leftovers though, their fate is less consequential to us than the price of a latte in Seattle is to dirt poor peasants in rural Uganda
