What’s up SS fam. I wanted to share an interesting interaction from last weekend and get your thoughts.
For context, I’ve recently been getting back into the game after a hiatus. Over the past few months I’ve been focusing on foundational things, getting my job to the point where I don’t need overtime and building a routine that lets me go out consistently. A big part of that has been committing to daily sessions. The goal is not necessarily to have a huge night every time, but to stay in the game and keep momentum even when life goes sideways and weekends get taken by travel, events, or random obligations. I’m also getting used to running sessions solo again.
This night was actually solid from an AA standpoint. I opened a lot of girls and several groups without hesitation. I could feel the rust coming off and the momentum starting to return, even though none of the sets hooked strongly. I ended up with a few numbers but nothing that really stuck.
Toward the end of the night I decided to give it one more shot. I told myself I would hit one last bar and if nothing happened within about twenty minutes, I would call it a night.
On the way there I ran into a guy I knew from college who used to support my old band. He is clearly gay and was with a very attractive girl who worked as a personal trainer. I chatted with both of them and the girl seemed quite receptive. She actually initiated some physicality early in the interaction. The guy also seemed to be subtly helping me out with her.
They mentioned they were heading to a college bar on the strip before calling it a night, so I decided to join them and see where things went.
When we got there she actually bought VIP wristbands for all three of us, and I walked in holding hands with her. My plan was to vibe with her at the bar for a bit and then try to lead toward the pull.
Then the situation took a turn.
It turned out she was bisexual. After we had been hanging out for a bit, she met another attractive girl at the bar and they started making out. At that point the dynamic shifted quickly.
She was still playful with me. At one point she even said something like, “Squeeze my boob, look how turned on I am,” which I obliged. But ultimately she ended up leaving with the other girl.
So the pull opportunity slipped.
Looking back on it, I think the key mistake was not leading earlier. In hindsight the strongest logistics were actually before we entered the bar. Once we went inside, the environment introduced new variables and the situation became harder to control.
If I had to run it again, I think the stronger move would have been to try to pull back immediately rather than assuming the vibe would hold once we changed venues.
At the same time, part of me wonders if this girl was just playing around and was never really serious about leaving with me. Curious what you guys think. Was this mostly a logistics mistake on my part, or was she just being a tease? What could I have done better here? Would love to hear your feedback.
