Greetings to everyone here, I am a 24 year old male who started to work as a research assistant in a neuroscience institute. Gotta keep everything short, as everyone else in the community, I have been unsuccessful with women many times and in my early 20's I also have been successful with women but mostly either I broke up with them and I gained their hatred till forever. Ever since I've graduated from university and after a visit to Vienna for 3 months of involving in a research, I was determined to change everything in my life. Instead of telling you what I will do, I am going to tell you what I am doing right now and what I had done wrong so far.
Currently I have a friend who lives with me and pays me rent, doesn't smoke, eats healthy and goes to the gym regularly. In Vienna, I used to go cycling regularly and I lost some weight. Right now I am walking 9-10 km every day and sometimes I go to the gym for weightlifting. I think I lost 12 kilograms in 4 months but I think this number must be higher! I quit smoking for a month but then started again. I am storing money right now, currently I am winning 3k Euros as a Bachelor graduate and storing some (this month 600 Euros) for future investments and education for Master's.
The harsh truth is I've stepped back from relationships for a year. My 2 year relationship was ended by me since I couldn't respect her anymore even though she was respecting me and we were having serious arguments (at least direct confrontations were occurring), also I was about to lose the frame eventually completely, predicting this relationship wasn't going to end well for me. So I cut the bond after three months, realizing the situation would go awful soon. Right now, I don't look for long term for a year but at the best possibility in 6 months, I will go back to dating world again. Because in this situation, my condition is one of the worst so far and I don't think I'll be accepted by people I'd date or be together with. That doesn't mean I am going to isolate myself from humanity but this time period is about myself and my priorities.
I think the dating world is beyond awful but the solution to that isn't whining about "Where did all the good women go?" Well, I know the permanent solution to that is having boundaries of yourself and even if you get damaged (it is completely normal in early 20's and your first experiences) you shouldn't give up and let your frames' boundaries loose. I have an ideal for myself, my family, my future etc and even if the world is brutal, I am not going to be bent. Even if it happens, I may have a shape of something else but something seems more delicate.
Do you have any suggestions or opinions or criticism?
