The longer form question is:
What are your takes/experiences when it comes to younger women adapting to an older guy in terms of humor, sophistication, conversational capacity etc?
I'm 30 and I'm looking for a GF/something serious and I am looking abroad and sometimes locally for chicks in the 18-22 range because would like a bit of an age gap, etc.
As I've said in a recent post, I find most younger women have very poor conversational skills even if they're interested in me.
This raises some concern because I'm wondering how it would actually be like to be in a relationship with a woman like this.
Another thing I noticed is that with foreign women, they often don't get my teasing and sense of humor. They take it personally sometimes.
Not to toot my own horn but I'm somewhat sophisticated, well-traveled, multiple languages, well-read, etc. I really want someone who can at least adapt over-time (within reason) and not stay within a somewhat dull and short-sighted state of mind when it comes to the relationship.
Any of you guys have some anecdotes in terms of the time, energy and process involved in seriously dating a younger girl? Have you successfully guided her development to where she is now capable of interacting with you at a more level playing field? How long did it take? Was there a lot of correction and call-outs?
