I've seen a few of these documentaries.

Guy lies his way into a woman's life, steals her money, breaks her heart, whatever.

My question is if a dude's got no problem lying his way into a woman's life, why do they always go after the old hags?

None of the ladies in these docs are anything to write home about...

I saw the Tinder Swindler doc and vaguely remember the women being in their 30s and having their act together professionally. Just googled them and they don't look so bad if you were an older guy. Not my types but they don't seem like hags.

So am guessing that they were at a more "desperate" stage in life romantically and also had fluid money that he could extract since career wise they were doing all right.

We all employ "spin" when pursuing mates, career advancement, etc etc. This only becomes corrosive, when someone starts taking everyone else in the vicinity for a ride, and giving very little in return

Why does a predator go for an injured predator when it's strong enough to get the healthy ones?

Because it's about the easy kill. The young hot woman is a Hunter herself.
