5 Reasons You Are Not Getting Matches On Dating Apps

I have looked at hundreds of men’s profiles who were struggling on dating apps and a few patterns emerged:

1) Poor presentation— Most men don’t come close to showing their best selves online. You don’t need a full makeover—just a sharp haircut, tidy facial hair, and clothes that fit well. Master these basics and you’ll already be ahead of most guys on dating apps.

2) Unflattering facial expressions — It’s a common issue: eyes half-closed, mouth hanging open, awkward smile, or a harsh scowl in an otherwise playful shot (picture someone playing with a dog yet looking annoyed). Stick to three winning looks—confident neutral, easy grin, or genuine smile.

3) Underselling your looks — If you’re a solid 6 in person, your photos should elevate you to a 7 or 7.5—not drag you down to a 3 or 4. Poor lighting, awkward angles, and bad cropping are usually to blame.

4) Missing the sex-appeal factor — Your photos should make her think, “That’s a real man,” yet too many profiles broadcast a “boyish” energy instead. Beyond looking polished, project assurance and a hint of dominance.

5) Looking posed - This is very common. Not only do you need to look good in your photos, but the photos themselves need to look "natural". This means it looks like you were doing something cool and a friend randomly took a photo of you without any setup. A good pro photographer can replicate this effect

How about you take out an ad? Or just post your pics right here? Why do we need to go to your website? ;-)

OP is promoting his website. Give him a strict warning and 90 day ban for going against Sosuave rules.

Thinking about it, I wonder how many 'lurkers' here have unresolved issues with women they'd like to address before visiting OP's website or reading OP's post. Most of the regular posters seem to have things figured out, key word: most.

It's like a dozen pics and each one of them require an explanation. Would be impossible to replicate.

I'll provide some further clarification. Any type of "hey go look at my website for more content" or actively pointing members to your website in posts, will be counted as advertising.

A link to your website is allowed to passively exist in your signature along with whatever else signature text you choose to have. Referring to the link in your signature from within your posts is equivalent to just directly posting the link in your post, it makes no practical difference and is therefore not allowed.

The link is there in your signature, which is allowed. Guys can see it and can explore your website of they so choose on their own accord.

Posting part of some content and soliciting members to go to your website for more in depth explanation is by definition advertising. So is posting partial content and soliciting members to go to your website for continuation of the content. Basically any form of soliciting members to go to your website, is advertising and against forum rules, aside from linking to it in your signature.

It's fine if you post parts of whatever stuff you have on your website in general, just don't solicit forum members to go to your site for the rest of that part. On this forum it stands alone as it's own post.

I hope this makes the interpretation of the rule clearer. If you're in doubt about whether a post is over the line then feel free to message me about it, before posting it.

I'm letting this thread stand and remain open for discussion about the actual content present in the original post. For the future we won't allow any more instances of soliciting members.

Yeah, we today forget that the late 2000s-very early 10s were a period of remarkable backlash https://ew.com/gallery/22-sharp-dressed-men/ against the "Omega males" that were rampant in popular culture previously, via flicks like Knocked Up and Superbad

We could use a resurgence of that way of thinking and being today

For "petit" men, it's like this reason, except for the magical tranny transition.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
