Isn't her family pushing her to get exclusivity? And how does she justify staying in this situation? My fiancee´s sister. She´s has been banging this guy for years and he wont even give her the "girlfriend" label. I would assume he bangs other women, so she´s basically a plate.

I think Cornbread made a good post about it. But this deserves a new phrase, maybe something like "alpha married ", meaning she's currently unavailable because she is some Alpha's side piece. Knowingly she is a side piece, no secrets.sounds like alpha widow to me.
Yes, they are pushing. They even invite him to dinner all the time and on special ocassions, like if they were official. But he wont budge. In a way the guy deserves some props for not budging but the way they tream him (like if they were official), I dunno, I find the whole situation a bit bizarre.Isn't her family pushing her to get exclusivity? Sadly, yes I know a girl like this. Would still go out every weekend but not talk to or entertain guys.. Seemed almost like she decided at one point that it was just me and her.. it was almost like she had such a level of trust and an open heart that she just figured that we had a thing- yet we wouldn't even hang very often or anything...but there was def some undeniable connection there --where i felt comfortable just knowing i had her and vice versa-- Her feelings toward me went on for years but I was always on the fence about her from a like seeing a future or dating standpoint.. because i was already having all the benefits of that without commitment. I think both of us were cool with not committing to each other.. In the end when I had an intuition that she started lookin at other options, I kinda cut her off..So she stays single for a while. She may still go to nightclubs, usually with female friends, but she's just accompanying them. It likely means he is far above her in value either from a status or financial perspective and the family wants that and sees him as a "good catch "Yes, they are pushing. Its weird you feel like people that are like that are yours.. like made for you . Not in the romantic sense or spiritual or anything but like almost in a slightly egotistical way.. like u expect them to just always be about u because everything they showed u thusfar resonated with that
She was def something special though.. I still got a special place for her in my heart.. but not in the way that I would date or see a future with her..
