Due to US sanctions on Cuba, people there are struggling to get food, there are long waiting for lines for even to buy eggs or milk. the situation is very bad, even though they never hurt anyone. Yet Americans are crying to what happening to Ukraine but ignoring they are letting another nation die from hunger.
This is an example of how state media direct the emotions of people to where they want.

The problem is that Cuba is old news at this point. The Cuban Revolution, a communistic revolution, was in 1959.

The notion that Cuba never hurt anyone is laughable.

Cuba had an alliance with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the early 1960s. There were Soviet missiles in Cuba in 1962. The Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 was a big deal at the time.

Fidel Castro sent the worst of Cuba's jails and mental institutions to the United States (mainly Miami) in 1980 in the Mariel Boatlift. The 1983 movie "Scarface" is based on the Mariel Boatlift immigrants. Marielitos brought a lot of crime and violence to the USA.

I assume “they” being the Cuban people.

In the case of Ukraine, one deranged dictator decided to invade the country for territory and told the rest of the world be ready for nukes if you intervene. Americans do not like bullies.
With all due respect I dont think any event that involves nuclear powers, economic blocks, military alliances and BILLIONS of dollars happen cause an angry guy woke up in a bad mood one day and decided to blow off some steam.

Ukraine is just a front for international news. No one in the US actually cares for it, other than those who have visited it in the past. Most people in the US didn't know what Ukraine was until they were told to simp for it with flags and other social media virtue signalling. You already wrote why you think it's happening, so you realize the answer.

Without getting into political details, they are two completely different situations, it simply is a matter of how the media packages those stories and how the people consume those stories based on social comformity.

Simply put, anything that seems like the new "thing" to support, or "trendy" to follow, or "fair" to protest about, will get people to start changing their profile pics with that flag, putting stickers on their cars, and adding it to their social media. Are they well-educated on the situation? Do they truly understand it? Or even genuinely care for it? Nope. Just what the media has packaged for them, and what their friends and family say about it.

But hey, it is the new "thing" to support so let's all sing kumbaya and protest by posting as many stories about it as possible.

The US has wrongfully invaded sovereign nations many, many, many times before. But the narrative will always be that Russia is the bad guy and the US is the good guy. So it always depends on who is doing the invading and what the media tell you the reason is for invading that sovereign nation.

Effectively, Ukraine will always look like a good cause to cry for.

The deep state is using Ukraine as a giant money laundering op, that's why the media has been so aggressive promoting it. It's also the homeland of ancient Khazaria.

No, Ukraine isn't *always* going to look like a victim. The consensus surrounding the "narrative" is changing fast and the Bidens are in deep sh1t.

America's mentality and the allied nations mentality has always been "If you're not with us, you're against us". Its not hard to see. Look at every nation that didn't join the allied world/ ... practically destroyed them all at this point. We have our ways. Imperialism is a crazy game.

The only ones not with us that aren't completely destroyed are Russia, N Korea, China, and maybe afew others. Iran is suffering real bad by sanctions as well.

The plan was always for a One world unified government basically with America, UK, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Israel at the helm of things

Castro chased out all the Cubans with any money. Most of them settled in South Florida. They tend to vote conservative, and they absolutely fvcking hate Castro's regime, who robbed them of their land and wealth. Doing anything nice for Cuba is political death in the US.

There aren't a whole lot of ex-Cubans to affect national politics imo. Perhaps those in charge like having a potential bogeyman in our backyard?

Part of it is that Florida is a swing state in the presidential elections. The Hispanic vote in South Florida, much of it of Cuban descent, has been largely responsible for flipping the state from blue to red.

Just the US government using fascism to convince the cowardly sheep that they're doing good in the world while they rob us all blind.

Cuban-Americans have been more ideologically conservative than Mexican-Americans or Americans with Puerto Rican ancestry.

The Mexican Revolution of the 1910s set the stage for the 20th Century of Mexican politics had a moderate socialistic element to it but was not full on communistic like Cuba. When the PRI dominated Mexican politics from 1929-2000, it was left wing authoritarian. The effects of the Mexican Revolution and PRI authoritarianism has influenced the world view of Mexican-Americans in the United States and their voting patterns.
