Women slot themselves if you let them. The key is not to give them a promotion , but to let them earn it.

Sounds like you didn't have a lot invested in her, so another lesson learned...

Yes indeed. I still made mistakes (acting weak and beta as time went by), but with low investment I was able to see more clear her tests and my mistakes (corrected some).
After yesterdays “mutual” agreement to stop dating, today she restricted me on social media (where she has nothing) and deleted her job on LinkedIn (we are still connected).

These actions should have been made by me, the nominal “beta”, not by her!

After all that time, If she wouldn’t at least kiss me passionately on the first date I would drop her right away. Paradoxically, if you give in to their sexual resistance, they’ll reject you for being too nice.
