Help me pick somewhere to stay in Atlantic City for my birthday, I have options...

So I'm celebrating my birthday in Atlantic City, NJ this weekend.

I've got a room at Ocean Casino for Saturday, and I have a friend who's comping the room for Sunday. However, they have no nightlife in the hotel itself, no bars are open, just drinking on the gambling floor. But I'm told it's a very nice hotel and that people will be milling about all day.

The place that I'm told is probably the best as far as nightlife, given the pandemic, is Anthem at Tropicana. This hotel would be about $50 cheaper, I would not have Sunday comped, but I wouldn't have to go outside of my own hotel for the nightlife. Both hotels have a pool.

I don't know what the vibe is here right now. I'm simple. I wanna get drunk with my friends and I wanna get laid. Hopefully somebody around here has a better idea of Atlantic City than myself to maybe advise me a little here.

Well anyway, this question is mostly about nicer hotel and longer stay vs less nice hotel and shorter stay but I don't have to travel for my nightlife.

In that case, you shouldn't GO to Atlantic City. but rather CROSS the Atlantic and go to Amsterdam.
