Why the past tense? No longer support police reform?
I think majority want police reform, my self included. I personal hate the idea of police writing bogus tickets and fines just to fund their department. It's always funny to me how police are most active at the beginning and end of the month. Let's be honest someone getting a ticket for jay walking or broken headlight shouldn't even be a thing. These people are poor already why kick them while they are down? A warning sure and perhaps a ticket for multiple repeat offenders.
In fact I want reforms a crossed a broad spectrum. The reason why I want to reform welfare and divorce courts along with abortion is to combat poverty and promote family values. In turn police departments and jails would need smaller budgets because less crime instead of just big business. I want my tax dollars to go into infrastructure, education, state/local parks, and scientific pursuits not into police departments and jails. I also want de-regulation of certain prescription drugs, more of these things should be over the counter and not need a doctor to write a script. Don't get me wrong doctors are useful but they should better utilized. I'm against immigration temporary as a whole right because america has some of the best and brightest already we should taking care of our people first. While I dislike aide going to poor countries while our own people suffer, I understand it's necessary to keep the global hegemony. We personally don't have time for all this infighting, globalization is happening whether we like it or not and if were not careful we will fall behind.
Don't get me wrong I still want welfare and things like social security because there are some legitimate people that do need it. I think there needs to be some strict and major reforms all over america.
This might sound a bit sexist but I personally believe when we allowed women into politics started our downfall because the majority women are about feelings instead of logic and facts.
