So What is the dream?

So I red Pook's chapter on Dreams first, chicks second. So what is my dream. Here is my reflection.

As naïve 18 year old, my "vison" was I will get an education have a successful career and then get a mater to have sex with. To me, the girl was the dream and the career and everthing was just to facilitate the dream.

Then reality kicked in. Reality lead to depression, which lead to bad decisions, which lead to financial hardships and I turned to desperate measures. Now I have things back on track. I have a steady job, not yet where I need to be but I am more narrowly focused. The financial hardships have made me sensitive to people in poverty, especially the homeless. I am active in homeless charities and I have decided that I am going to fight poverty through the channel of politics. I am presently helping on campaigns and hope to run for office myself in a few years.

In light of Pook, I believe "The Girl in My dream" will be the one who appreciates and supports these ventures of mine.

It’s good that you’re striving to become a better person and have empathy for the homeless. I’ve been broke and on the street and depressed. I’m glad it happened because it makes me appreciate everything I have now.

Women will always be there when you want them. Focus on building up a life of happiness and screen hard for chicks who have the same attitude as you.
