When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Yeah, it's good, for you, that you don't want anything other than some casual sex relief because you got a lot of more important stuff to deal with. It would be also be asking a lot of a girl to invest at this point anyway given the whole situation. I would suggest keeping the good sex going with her if she comes back around as you already let her know where she stands and also see what other girls are down for some casual stuff.3 years since separation in a few weeks. Joint Physical and Legal Custody with 50/50 Parenting Time. I don't talk to her or work with her via email/text in any way. I can't stand mom and she knows it. It's a firm "don't talk to me, ever" attitude since she attempted to undermine custody and stole the children away from me. Perhaps, that is for another post..
Since I pay her child support with the above stated, I treat her as a babysitter. Cheap one at that. I control the future by working with professionals, mediators and filing motions and marching her as to the courthouse if she does not agree with what I have proposed in the name of "best interests of the children". She has folded every time.
Full disclosure: I am still damaged from the effects of my family being tore apart and it is brutal dealing with her face to face, cops called to my house 5 times for "welfare checks", child protective women workers who absolutely have a hard on for me because I have proved my ex to be a liar and threatened their jobs but I always love my question I ask them "at the end of the day, who is their daddy?....am I their daddy?....ok then".
LTR is not in the cards for me now or in the future and I am upfront about that day one.
I have told several women know that I own the "Orgasm Express" and am the founder of "CBDT" - Cuck Blocker Distraction Team. I have learned, there are many good ones, and there are far more benefits to any woman dating me, than I dating her.
If the roles were reversed he would be advised by everyone to run fast the other way.The right thing to do is to let her go. Wouldn't you want that if the roles were reversed?
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
I sometimes wonder your intentions behind being here...If the roles were reversed he would be advised by everyone to run fast the other way.
What? Is that not true? If it was a woman who had that kind of baggage would guys here advise him to pursue?I sometimes wonder your intentions behind being here...
What are they?
We’re good, I’m just being a ****head. But there actually are certain things—biological—that I could point out, and I have before. I just don’t want to have a several-day ongoing argument. (Maybe I’m ‘maturing’?What? Is that not true? If it was a woman who had that kind of baggage would guys here advise him to pursue?
The post was suggesting the OP to consider things the other way around.
So I guess, my intention in that case was to point out how that would go. In reality most men want to avoid women with the issues the OP has and I don’t blame them. I would too, to be honest. But if I’m wrong by all means show me the posts where men are being advised to continue relationships with single mothers going through custody battles with their ex’s with courts and child welfare involved. Just send me the link to all of those posts.
I hear ya, I can't do those epic arguments, but I don't mind a bit of debate when there's stuff I can learn or an interesting perspective from which to see things. We’re good, I’m just being a ****head. You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Because he does not have a strong frame of mind....Yet.When men say "I don't really care," it means "I really care."
