Senior Don Juan
Earlier today, i picked the day and place but didn't set the time. My question is should i reach out and text her the time or wait for her to confirm?
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Yes, pick up the phone call her and be direct and confident. TELL her (not ask) what YOUR plan is. Make a few jokes and or give her some crap in a playful way depending on what you're doing. Get her juiced up.So you think leaving it alone at this point is like the date is still up in the air?
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
you don't think I should just wait for her to reach out and ask if we're still on at this point? I think I'll be verifying the date if I reach out. Verifying promotes flaking. This is giving me massive anxiety. It honestly doesn't matter. If she is planning inflaming she will flake regardless. Text..call...its irrelevant.

It does seem high and she's hot. I just ****ed up by not putting a time out there.Cancel the date and suggest rescheduling for next week.
Its something I've been doing a lot lately. Flaking out to up her interest level. I only do this to girls when they don't seem very excited to go out with me. In fact, until I get some level of excitement, I won't even go on the date.
If you hate being nervous on dates.. this is the solution to that problem. Don't go on the date until the girl's interest level seems high.
You are turning this into way way too big of a deal. It's one girl, if she flakes so what?? And no, I think you should act like a man and tell her when the date is. First of all, there is nothing that "promotes" flaking. She is either interested and wants to see you or not interested and doesn't. In fact, this gives you the chance to plan something else out if she does.you don't think I should just wait for her to reach out and ask if we're still on at this point? How the hell do you think you'll be good o the date if you are socially inept?? That's where you will sink faster than a person in quicksand if you are as inept as you claim to be.I'm really disappointed no one has provided me with a concrete answer. I'm extremely socially inept and I do not know what is happening in this situation or how to proceed. She's really hot and if I get her on this date I think it'll be good

If she didn't realize that you forgot that then telling her won't make a differenceEarlier today, i picked the day and place but didn't set the time. My question is should i reach out and text her the time or wait for her to confirm?
Yes, the takeaway is effective early on.Cancel the date and suggest rescheduling for next week.

Lol yes. You got thisWas waiting on this answer. Seems like common sense. If you are planning something and neither of you think to bring up "hey what time is this happening" it's not happening. Sorta like where you tell that distant cousin on a get together that you guys gotta stay in contact and are going to "talk more."
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
