"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

There are certain things I don't like to do. I don't like cleaning toilets. Meanwhile, she doesn't like to take out the trash. That's just a very small example, but there are advantages.
Who really likes cleaning toilets or taking out the trash though? Bad examples, but yes there are advantages, I'm living with my girlfriend so I know.

Anyways, it was a response to point 3 of OP's post. Pointing out how everything is kept super separate as if it's 2 thieves trying to live together, so what's the point calling it a relationship?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I see what you're saying now, I wasn't taking it in context. Since we're talking about an alternative to marriage here (or more specifically divorce), the idea is just to keep your finances separate. In a divorce, usually the government comes in and freezes your assets and decides how they will be distributed.

The idea here is to avoid the third party interference and allow for a simpler, easier split - IF it should happen. From a practical standpoint, I don't really see why you would need or want a joint account anyway.

I don't mind taking out the trash though, doesn't take very long.

I didn't know you were cohabitating, Grewd. It's a pretty unpopular idea around here, although I'm enjoying it well enough.

What's the point? It's doomed to fail anyway! 50% failure rate is a grade of F.

There is no hope, when people worship themselves, instead of the One who created/instituted marriage.

You're better off, with your casual sex. At least, you get some. o_O

Well, actually point 3 isn't stupid. It's just the underlying "mine and yours" mentality. I don't share an account with my girlfriend, but we spend it as if both our money is shared.

Yes I am cohabitating, I never cared for what this forum considers popular or not. In my opinion it's fear that keeps others from doing it too. A rational fear, but completely staying away from potential danger is not as helpful as learning how to deal with it.

Many guys just conclude that they're not gonna have relationships at all. They fear the things we often discuss on this forum. I don't fear it, I'm just aware of it. I use all I know to predict the chance of bad outcomes and always know what to do in a worst case scenario. It's not naive and it's not pessimistic either, I get a sense that many guys on this forum is more on the pessimistic side.

Exactly!

When people say "She's too young - if you get married it's doomed to fail" I said "Thats the case with every marriage, so why not marry a hottie?"

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

This is like saying "Why sign an NDA with your new company - if they trust you you shouldn't need that"!

And it's not 2 thieves - there is only her.

True, if you need NDA then I would not hire them. It is 2 thieves, men are not saints.
