Ever Google your prospective dates name and saw mugshots of her on public record? LOL. Typically its either domestic abuse or DUI's

Would they be entirely dealbreakers?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Yes I always do this! My last girlfriend had a public indecency charge several years back so I just kept that information to myself. One night we were joking around about going to jail so I used that as the opportune time to see how forthcoming she would be. She told me the entire story and it was actually something that could of happened to anybody that likes to have sechs in public!

I've dated another with a DUI, and 2 others with domestics. The only one that ended up being a bad deal was one of the girls with a domestic charge.

I say just keep an open mind, nobody is perfect, and people do stupid things. But don't be blind to it all either. And definitely don't tell them you know about their charge, put them in a situation to be honest with you and see how forthcoming they are.

I did have a girl I dated that was getting a house foreclosed on. I tried to get her to open up about it, but didn't tell her all that I knew. She kept telling me she was selling her house and getting a different one because she didn't like the one she had. lol. BS. Eventually, I said "hey, its obvious you are full of ****. I tried to get you to open up but I know more than I led on and you are a liar". I ended the relationship right there. I put her to the test and she lied. If she hid details like that, then she will hide even smaller details that might directly effect me. I don't need people like that.

where do you find all this info? I went to that findmugshots website and its worthless. Id like to see my own mugshot (street racing) and this girl I am talking to currently told me she was like 16-17 and drunk, led police on a chase that ended with them pitting her car or something :rofl:

Depends on what the crime was, if she told you the truth like @Howiestern mentioned and what her behavior/attitude is like.

if it's not a violent crime and doesn't represent a mental/personality issue, then who cares?

if she's a drunk that's one thing, if she's a kleptomaniac that's one thing, if she's some sort of weird pervert that's one thing

but if she just made a mistake as a teenager or something who cares

Because its shows several things about ones character.
1. You believe others should mop up your financial mess.
2. You aren't very responsible.
3. You are hiding details about your past by not being forthcoming.
4. You don't mind ruining your credit.

These same traits will appear in other areas of that persons life. I don't care to associate with those types of people and consider them losers.
