Created another thread but there was too little detail to know exactly whats going on.
Its been quite awhile since I've felt this attracted to a girl but seeing how the situation has turned out, I don't know what's the best course of action is to take is, I'll try be as detailed as possible so I grt the best possible thing I can do in this case to mantain my emotional stability:
Story:
I met this girl (Girl A) at work about a month ago, we exchanged smiles and a little chit chat here and there but nothing too substantial. It was until yesterday that I was on the bus and she sat next to me, I took it as a sign of interest for her to sit next to me while usually she would find any other seat on the bus, had a little chit chat, harmless kino and that's it.
Later during the evening, I was waiting at the bus stop and she approached me again, I told her come take a seat and her proximity was closer than I usually expect, with arms brushing time to time. Anyway I continue chatting her up with kino, teasing and the like with her smiling and asking me questions. She has a friend (Girl B) in the same workplace and occasionally she would drop things like 'Girl B thinks you're very handsome' and apparently Girl B has told Girl A everything about the conversation I had with Girl B, my age what I do etc. I just brush it off like no big deal and continue flirting and kino with girl A. No flinching.
It came when I jokingly mentioned that I had trouble figuring out what I could take her out for and suddenly her face expression changed to an 'Oh ****' kind of expression.
Nonetheless, we still continued to enjoy each's others company and that's when I asked her to join me for a walk I'm planning to go on.
She told me 'No' with a smile on her face and said 'Rejected!'. My gut feel told me it was a sh!t test so I persisted and said
'I asked once so I won't ask twice again'
with a smile on my face. After that she asked me what's the plan so I gave abit of detail and then she said
'Do you want to ask Girl B to come along?'
I told her sure thing if you like a third wheel coming along.
I handed her my phone, again she exclaimed no with a smile on her face and then proceeded to input her number.
Gave her a missed call to exchange numbers and then she said 'I don't know if I should tell you this'
I said 'Go ahead'
She says 'We can be friends'.
At this point I was shocked as hell how could everrything go downhill so fast, I just smiled and said 'No problem' because I still am in office for the next 3 weeks before I leave.
So what's going on here, should I even pursue or chalk it up to a loss? Please advise
TL;DR
1. Girl A hits on me at the bus stop
2. Girl A constantly brings up Girl B, I pay no attention to it
3. I ask Girl A out, she gives me her number and tells me 'We can be friends.'
