What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

When I had a gf I would discipline her, now when I get lied I just don't give a ****. So it depends on your level of committment to the girl in my opinion.

so you can't just come here and ask about what you think of lies, everyone does, since i'm blunt and tell the truth more often then I should, most people find me annoying, then I learned to make it sound like a joke then I could tell the truth and people would laught or smile and let it go.
you need to tell us how big is the lie, how well you know people lie, and how cool and in control you can be to use it agaisnt the person in a later date
The same way you handle an argument. Be calm and mature, but let them know where you stand. If they want to keep arguing, it's just noise. You have better things to do.
