Yeah, there must be some reason why they have not come out with one. I do not want to say conspiracy, but it seems very strange. I am not a doctor, but I am well read and I do not understand how it could be so hard to produce a simple device that simply constricts the Vas Deferens? I mean, it seems like it would only require minor surgery to simply clamp two small tubes in the testis. Or perhaps something that blocks one of the multitude of factors involved in spermatogenesis. In fact I thought I heard of some hormone treatment that made men infertile for a period of time.... Feminists from what I have seen are opposed to the pill, but I cannot imagine they have THAT much sway.
But it would change the game for men, completely. Currently almost all of the power lies in the woman's hands. Pregnancy is just as treacherous for men as it is for women. Of course men do not give actual birth, but they are held responsible for the child just as much as the woman, hence things like child support. There
Currently women have... Intrauterine devices, implants, rings, shots, patches, pills, and all kinds of things. I am not even considering abortion, plan B, and other options.
And men have what for contraceptives... just condoms?
Unlike a woman, a man has no ability to control his own fertility. Reproductive rights are denied to men. Male birth control would be a great equalizer, giving freedom to men.

We also need to think about other things here too... Not just from the scope of the man who is forced to be the father even if he does not want to, or if he was tricked into paternity. A move toward reproductive equality is good and ethically fair... But also think about these other implications:
There are over 150,000 children in America waiting for adoption. It is a burden on our system, and reducing that would have a positive effect. It would reduce abortions greatly, and thus less moral outrage. Also single parent households are EVERYWHERE and they mostly tend to be a financial burden on the state as single parent households tend to have higher levels of government assistance (strong correlation). It can help manage overpopulation, even if by a small degree. And those are just a few off of the top of my head...
Edit: even with a male pill out I will still use condoms though. And I suggest most men do too. I had got chlamydia before and thankfully it was one of those STDs that is easily cured. I am not ever going without the rubber again. I think I just need to stay away from them slvts they are bad for my health.

Male contraceptives are nothing more than a Patriarchal plot for those evil menz to get more sex! Imagine all those poor princesses having to have sex repeatedly with these cretins without knowing he has secretly taken an injection to thwart the process.

My late step dad died a year ago at 81. He was alpha that got lots of tail prior to marring my mom. He told a story from around 1983 where he was between his first wife and my mom, the VP of a major battery company, single, around 50 years old, and hitting 20s b|tches hard.
