Let me clarify. I did a "full" squat but I did not subscribe to the "ass to the grass" philosophy which is what many people seem to consider the only true type or "full" squat. I believe squatting to parralel is fine.
Don't tell me that I didn't grow. I did. I'm a very experienced lifter and probably know all sorts of things you have no idea exist. My quads (and rest of my legs except calves) grew so fast that I literally had to stop doing legs for 3 months because I didn't want permanent stretch marks on my legs. The stretch marks were so bad I looked like a bengal tiger down there.
Yes, I could squat 600 pounds.
Finally, if I was such an idiot about it how come every single day I had personal trainers coming up to me to tell me how impressed they were with what I was lifting? Granted, not all personal trainers know what they are doing but most have a good grasp on personal fitness and I doubt they would compliment someone who is clearly doing something incorrectly or dangerously.
The point I was making in my original post was this: there is no "RIGHT" way to do things. There is the way that works for you, and that is all that matters.
