When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
ha. my first gf, on highschool. it was a very short thing. Anyhow, so 3 years pass or so and I start with my LTR, in 4 months she contacted me. Of course, she knew about my new relationship. This is just for curiosity.... What's the longest amount of time a woman maintained no-contact before she caved and re-initiated contact with you? Six months? A year? Ten years?
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Sorry for bothering you = I have some respect for you and your time and I know you are busy with more important things than me.responses like " sorry for bothering you" or asking why i dumped them. Good times.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
How did she know? Facebook? Small town?I guess I should give mine... 8 years - the woman who drove me here contacted me just days after I ended my marriage
It's just crazy how things can turn. Sometimes i wonder if some chicks feel the same way as when a guy got dumped. That's the reason why i don't want to have a gf . When you see the chick as a plate , it's easier for you to dump her , no hard feelings and you still maintain your alpha status since you had nothing exclusive with her. It's a win win imoSorry for bothering you = I have some respect for you and your time and I know you are busy with more important things than me.
Asking why I dumped them = I haven't got complete closure and moved on and I may even still like/love you
If a relationship is going to end, this is where you want it to be... A complete 180 from what most guys go through where the woman dumps them and they are still soppy over her months/years later while she has moved on and fvcked 10 other guys sense then.
Good times, indeed!!
The one I dumped in HS and then had a 2.5 year LTR 21 years later, AND, dumped her yet again then, she told me when I ended the LTR that I was her first love and she had loved me the whole time, for 21 years. Then about a year after I ended the LTR she ran into my mom and told my mom "I still love him and always will".
She ran into my cousin and he told her my marriage had ended. Here's the message she sent me:How did she know? Facebook? Small town?
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
