Honestly at times I feel really depressed thinking something is missing in my life. Because of what society has taught me, and what people around me tell me, I always associate that hole with women. Like if I get in a long term relationship my problems will be solved and that hole will be filled. The funny thing is out of all the friends around me who are married or in a commited relationship, there are very few in a relationship that I think contributes to their happiness. Most are stuck in relationships that are f**ked up.
My goal from here on out is that every time I get depressed thinking of something that is missing in my life, instead of thinking about a LTR, I will think of something that I can do to improve myself. Something I can do to enrich my life.

IAFYB... you make a good point in that we should focus on ourselves first before we can think about women. But not everyone is like YOu!!! everyone is different, some men need women to be happy and its what makes them happy, and that's ok, there's nothing wrong with that!... my only advice is just don't settle for just anyone. i know people who can't stand to be alone so they settle for the first one who shows them affection and interest!... wait, there will always be someone better, just need patience!

I completely agree, it seems that too many guys are feeling a hollowness of sorts; as if, now I can make a girl like me, have sex with me and my life will be great. Thats not how it does work, nor how it should work. You have one relationship that surpasses all in importance: Relationship with self.

Consider you existence for a brief moment. You're a hyper-evolved, carbon based conscious life form, who is aware of his impending death. You are living on a back water planet in a 12,000 light year thick galaxy, flying through space at unholy speeds. You've had the fortunate opportunity as regular matter (Because roughly 96% of the essential "stuff" that makes up everything, we can't see, detect or even technically prove exists, has to.) to become aware and actually be able to shape the universe your mind has entered into.
Take a moment to comprehend the power you posses.
You're a cognitive powerhouse. You are matter at its highest form. You are able to reach out, touch the world, and then have your actions echo in eternity. You can create ANYTHING. You simply have to know what you want.
There are unlimited resources available to fulfill any thing you can imagine. All it takes is focus, tenacity and self love. You've got to put yourself at the top of list. You've got to enrich yourself as much as possible before you can enrich others.
I recommend first, focusing on your "endgame." Where do you want to be in 20 years? 40 years? Personally? Be able to board my plane and fly to any of 12-15 countries and receive a warm, familial reception. With a CGT or 2.

What do you want to see before you die?
Where do you want to go?
What do you want to feel?
Get that idea in your mind. Focus it down to details, and pay no attention to your programming telling you its not attainable. In fact, write down EXACTLY what you want, car, house, women, money, lifestyle all that good stuff.
Good now you have a long term vision or if you prefer, a pursuit.
Now think of all the things to do in this world. Too many, I know. So focus on something you've always wanted to do. Have you ever seen Paris in the fall? Or jumped out of a perfectly good airplane? Do you know Muay Thai? Or have you ever had an idea that you though was great, but never acted on it? Now is the time sir.
I've always wanted to become an exceptional driver. So this year with my tax return, I bought a weekend at Skip Barber and drove Vipers on a race track. Will this help me get chicks? Maybe. Do I care? Fvck no. The emotions and feelings I had while driving would be near impossible to replicate with a woman. Sure women are great, and I don't mind one sitting next to me while driving, but I'm not going to give up my car for it. Do you understand what I mean?
Do not concern yourself with the how or the why, let the universe figure that out. Your job is to focus on exactly on what you want and, through magnificent manifestation, a way will be made. You might get that million dollar idea, or make that business connection, or just by what might seem like sheer dumb luck, what you want will come into your life.
Most of your time will be spent on gathering data. Understanding people, learning things about yourself, looking for ways to fullfill your destiny. You may get fatigued or even lose focus and you will want to give up.
You may not see results yet, but they could be just around the corner. So keep moving forward, doing what makes you happy, while pursuing your endgame.
As far as we know, what we refer to as time is in a continuous "forward" state, where going back is not possible. So.. DON'T WALLOW IN YOUR MISTAKES, LEARN FROM THEM. Don't blame others for your short comings, focus on filling the gap. Don't look at other people and fill you up, because at the end of the day, you goto sleep with your mind, nothing else.
Time is too precious to waste on negative thinking or feelings, focus on making yourself happy. And if getting laid is all that makes you happy, get into Porn and become self-actualized. But if getting laid is a pleasurable bonding experience that you want to incorporate into your masterpiece, then by all means, add it in. But don't let it the become the dominant force.
When you put sex at the top, it still requires others to manifest in its best form. This cannot work. You must keep yourself at the top. Respect thy self, and thy time.
You can only go forward, never back. So make the remainder of your existence as worthwhile as possible, because you never see death coming, you only see it going.
There are 6.7+ billion people on this planet, I'm willing to bet that, less than 1% know what you now are aware of.

I'm sorry, I'm not getting the message. The gist of this thread seems to suggest that career,home,car,plane etc are more important than women. That comes from a relative frame of mind; not the absolute truth. Why should it apply equally to all men? Everyone has their own preferences. I have no trouble imagining someone with a mediocre job living in a shabby apartment with no car, but lives completely contented and bangs many women. You might pass judgements on this guy but where is the objective truth in it? I'd be happy to be such a guy.

Are you asking us to be workaholics or something? I work 9-5 and I'd rather pursue women in the remaining hours instead of sitting and dreaming of goals.
