You should want companionship, not a relationship

One of the things guys get a lot of advice on is how to act, maintain, and survive a relationship. This type of thinking is very weak. If the man 'works' on the relationship he is focusing on her and how to make the woman happy, being subservient to her instead of making the world a better place. It's is up to the female to want, work and maintain the relationship. The man should want companionship and sex. He should not 'want' a relationship. He should be out there making a name for himself while the female comes along for the ride.

Your job is not to maintain the relationship. It is to increase your value to society. Relationship advice should only be for women.

Most of the advice I see here is not on how to maintain a relationship. It's on how to maintain your frame in the relationship I.e. not end up with your balls in a jar.
