Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

when i think of a badboy i think of an out of shape wigger wearing a sports jersey and a backwards baseball cap and shtty tattoos, that fake lame style seems to be a hit with a lot of fake lame ladies who have been tricked into believing a guy like the type i just described is somehow tough of cool

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Sorry to necro a relatively "old" thread but honestly this thread is kind of a junk show. I notice a lot of the things people are saying are just the same misogynistic circle jerk band wagon things we've all heard before by pseudo arm chair forum psychologists trying to console their fellow man whose dignity was surely snatched away from him. Basically: lots of emotion, not a lot of reason. I definitely find women to be a gender hardly worth spending time and energy on. But perhaps for more logical and facts based reasons. A lot of what I just read 6 pages back either has a very gross misinterpretation of what sociopathy actually is and what it involves(really, does anyone in this thread understand what it is), and people clinging on to ideals loosely based around gender roles that are stuck in the ages of cave men or are more relatable to purely animals found in the wild than they are to a species that has free will, consciousness, and the ability to transcend very, VERY primitive instinctive natures

one guy said this powerful quote, and it makes sense about the roles of men and women in life, he said:

"Because it is what we were born to do. Sorry that is life. Women bear the kids, we(Men) are the laborers of life and creators of civilizations."
