"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

CONFIDENCE

That is all you need.

The reason I am here is for the tips some of you post which are great.

then there are those with a hundred threads of

does she like me. *afc* (Talk to her and find out)

she looked at me like so, what does it mean? *afc* (Don't know, talk to her and find out)

i freeze when she walks into the room, what can i do? *afc* (Unfreeze, then talk to her)

Then there are the losers that never leave the computer but write shi_t all over the forums.

there is no easy way to grow up. You either pay up now or later, but you will pay.

wimps.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Some good advice about getting it done. I think confidence is way over played, though it is good, it is not the most decidely important factor for getting a girl you like.

Some girls even like the shy-coy types that take forever to ask them out and act AFC around them. Different strokes for different folks. Some girls can see confidence is faked and if you have confidence and are really good-looking, you may come off as arrogant to some. So there is a fine line.

Either she likes you or she don't. If you find yourself having to sell yourself then you are trying to convince her that you are a good catch. You may be, but she has to decide this for herself and being a 'salesmen' will only turn her off. She is either naturally attracted to you or not - if she really likes you, doesn't matter what you really do.

Considering how some nimrods get girls - they're just being themeselves but not putting the girls on a pedestal. They have that take it or leave it attitude which really gets some of the most attractive girls because alot of their value (at least to them) is hinged on their looks.

It would appear we have a poser to the likes of one person acting as two. Nothing like Dec 2005 to make it seem that way.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
