Exactly. Translation is different to comprehension. The only thing you ever need to comprehend, is the message; the words used are inconsequential.

The only two messages you are required to comprehend, either resulting from her words or her actions:
-"I'm interested"
-"I'm not interested"

Asking oneself anything more than this is over analysis.

Who knows what the reason was. Maybe she found you attractive but you reminded her of an ex. Maybe she's lying and doesn't really find you attractive at all. Bottom line is isn't interested. It sucks but at least you know up front. Hey you never know maybe your paths will connect again and next time you might find her attractive but not your type. If only.
