"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I don't if my GF was serious or not

we had a phone call yesterday, and I let her know that I got her a minion

she then goes "Is that to try and stop me from breaking up with you?"

... I said "No" and she went "I'm only joking"

I don't know what to think.

The thing that's bothering me the most is that before she even "joked" about the breaking up part this happened:

Me " Do you want the 2 weeks of space? "

Her "Why? I've missed you"

Why would she say she 'missed' me, but then joke of a break up??:cuss:

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Relax...girls, will tease you hard to see if you're a man that can take it. Don't show her you're not. Blow it off, and if she wants to break up, show her the door. Never be afraid of it.

See that's it! My GF and I always tease each other, because it's fun, because we get off to it, because it turns us both on - weird huh?

But the fact that we had an argument a week ago, that things are starting to clear up well and she drops this "break up" joke ... it's not too kind on the skin.

I won't bring it up and I definitely will let it blow over ... but it's just a bit of a low blow tbh.:nervous:

Oh yeah...females have a natural mean streak that can come out when you least expect it. Ask any divorced guy.

So, what I'm getting, is that I'm blowing this ****e out of proportion (as per usual  ) ...

I really need to teach myself not to over react like a chemistry experiment gone wrong - ****.

Any advice you can give to take our relationship back on track?

Thanks.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

The ' I'm joking ' part, or the ' Is this your way of stopping me breaking up with you '.

It'd be nice if you could be clearer :)

Bro if she can rattle you with one sentence, what are you going to do when she really wants to make your head spin?

You took it seriously and now she knows how to push your buttons if she wants to get a reaction out of you.

You got to Agree and Amplify.

Yeah I realise now I should've brushed it off and joked with her ... kind of stupid, I know.

But it's just a joke, right?

Never take any of a woman's words seriously. Whether she's saying she loves you or she hates you, she's talking about her emotions. And those emotions change as easily as the wind changes directions.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Yes she was joking. Thick skin bro! Just a little sh*t test to see if you get all emotional.
An ex of mine, we would joke like this too. Well up until I dumped her, bad behavoir, too much drama etc.

Judge her by her actions & behavoir...not words.

Lol, that's the best response I've heard so far.

Yeah, I overreacted :/

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
