"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

You're parents are just worried about you. Even though you're 19, you're still their little boy in their mind. I wouldn't worry about this too much. As long as you're practicing safe sex and not doing some biker dudes g/f or something dangerious like that then everythig is all right. They'll get over it in time.

Everything should be done in moderation. Your parents might be worried about you that at your young age you might get tangle up with the wrong girl, pick up STD or get her pregnant. Just be careful out there, and take responsibility for your actions.

Yeah, they went on about those lines of catching something or getting the girl a little up the duff. And they tell me if I carry on the way I am it will come back and hit me in the future and i've to stop using girls. It's really quite an annoying issue, people ain't like they way they use to be in there time one night stands are a common thing, they just have to deal with it.... There calling me sleezy and ****. It's annoying.

You know which type of girls do ONS? Hors and psycho girls with problems. Hors sleep with guys all the time so they eventually will pick up a disease and give you something. Psycho girls might sleep with you in order to get pregnant and then milk you for your money.

You are still under the care of your parents and if something bad happen they will have to carry the load.

Why don't you slow things down? date 2-3 women and fvck the same ones constantly instead of a new stranger every week. This way you at least know who you are dealing with.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
