WTF is happening in Europe

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I know , no political threads .............but honestly we should be worried. This clearly is getting out of hand.

In my opinion we could call this thread "current events" and/or "crazy people" not label it as "politics" per se. Thus so long as nobody tries to blame this stabbing on Trump, Hillary, Bush, Obama, or whoever, we should be good to discuss it. It is scary sh|t.

You can thank

and we can't forgot our good "friend,"

You can thank all of those cats for Europe's problems today. I had to take out Nietzche's picture because it wouldn't fit.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

My opinion: the innocents refugees™ tried to rape her and she fought back. Just my two cents.

I laugh every time these guys are reported as "children". What they do is they dispose of their passports and then report their own age as being adolescent when the migration institute asks them how old they are. Sweden is one of the few, maybe even the only country that doesn't implement measures against people doing that. It's so funny because it's complete BS and anyone with half an IQ point knows it hahaha, it's just a charade. Some articles do mention that the assailant's age was "reported" as being something, which is as close as you'll get to saying "as usual the guy falsified his identity when he arrived" in a politically correct way.

police spokesman:
We think it might have been an accident

Sure! That sounds perfectly plausible! I know I stab people to death by accident all the time. Sh!t happens.
I'll never understand why the native people (Swedes, in this case) just CONTINUE to allow the desecration of their own people. The refugees aren't making excuses, the PEOPLE IN CHARGE are. It blows my mind. And in all honesty, that's the main reason I don't act on my beliefs - you would get ZERO help, and would be demonized by your own. I mean, look at the vilification of Donald Trump. Good thing he's got 7 billion dollars and gives less than a f*ck. You know who hates Trump the most? Hint: It isn't the blacks, hispanics or arabs.

Especially as a white male in America, the most pro-PC nation on the Earth (okay, maybe there's a country or two in Europe who tops us).

I'm not trying to race bait or flame, but it really is ridiculous how many people HATE the white man. I understand there's a terrible past of discrimination, but that's not the case anymore and the past is the past. Get over it. Then you have the gender issue... Women are angels, men are the devil. But for some reason people are letting these Muslims get away with whatever they feel, with little to zero consequence. It just baffles me and goes against all logic / rationality. This is what the rise of feminism and social justice has led to (although you think the feminists would hate rape!).
Great post. Anti-white bigotry is the new McCarthyism in the western world. It's worse in Europe (I've been there), where the white guilt is so bad and the governments are so far left that they're taking these monsters in under the guise of tolerance and virtue signaling. Of course, in response you've got [a few] white neo nazi's coming out of the closet and a growing number of frustrated right-wing white guys who share these sentiments but are more willing to take up arms. Why? Because their mothers and sisters could be next. It's a tragedy what's happening there. But the root cause you asked, i.e. "what's happening in Europe?" The answer is ISLAM.

Now before the white-guilt ridden cowards or Muslims apologists accuse me of "not knowing any Muslims", let me stop you right there. I grew up in a Pakistani neighborhood in Brooklyn. My roommate today is from Saudi Arabia. We get along and he's a great guy...on everything other than the topic of religion. I don't bring it up because on this subject he is utterly deranged and insane. I previously had a roommate from Pakistan, who tried to convert me to Islam. The societies these people come from are open-air prisons and dictatoriships similar to North Korea.

It's not quite as bad in North America. It's Europe-lite on the subject of white guilt, but sadly it's getting there. In the USA, it's troubling that discredited hacks like Reza Aslan have a prominent voice on this topic. This charlatan blamed the Charlie Hebdo massacres on white intolerance in France. And The Young Turks is now the largest online news show in America with 2.5 million subs. Yet it's run by a Muslim apologist, openly anti-white racist named Cenk Uygur who traffics in yellow journalism on a daily basis. In a debate with Ann Coulter, his audience cheered for the ethnic cleansing of white people. These guys are really influencing the debate in all the wrong ways, and if we're not careful we'll have more and more white people give in and elect bleeding heart liberals who will allow this creeping theocracy to make its way here.

It's sad we've gotten to a point that only people like Trump or far right hacks like Ted Cruz are the only people making sense on this topic.

One final note on anti-white racism: Not only is it coming from prominent Muslims/Arab-Americans, it's coming out of the black community more than I've ever seen. Sadly a guy like Bernie Sanders, who I like on fiscal issues, is firmly in the back pocket of a repulsive separatist, black supremacist group like Black Lives Matter. The anti-white racism is coming from everywhere.

I've studied this extensively and the best explanation I've encountered is just pure envy. White mean succeeded earliest, and now it's really just a huge clusterf*ck of who gets what. Ever noticed how race goes right out the window when money is involved? And do you want to know the REAL reason behind mass immigration? The elites at the top (and the middle class) are kicking the debt problem right on down the generational street, and since whites have gotten fat and happy, and aren't having as many kids, we have to import people to keep the pyramid intact - to 'borrow' more money into existence so we can stay in debt but still have purchasing power. Yes, it's totally freaking stupid, but it is what it is. That's what the bailouts were all about.

^ The worst thing to me personally about this stuff is the social problems it can afflict people with who don't support it. For example, although I of course recognize that racism still exists and all today, I think guilting people for what their ancestors did is BS to the point that only someone insane, brain washed as a child or psychopatic would do so. But people who don't know you don't know your opinions, so if things get bad enough here people might start in the back of their heads to see me as the enemy or whatever because I don't look native. That's the real trouble, to me.

speed dawg nailed it with his brief, concise explanation of why it's going on. That's basically it. This is not a "humanitarian" effort, although it is disguised as being so just like the rest of the directives of the elite.

I agree with everything except Bernie being even somewhat logical. The guy is senile and has a huge case of white guilt.

TYT simply repulse me. They are psychotically anti-white and anti-republican, not to mention incredibly biased. It saddens me that society has come to this. But if we look back in history, we see that before women really had a say in any important matters (c. 1930's - 50's), things seemed reasonable. Sure, there has been and always will be morons out there, but at least we ran the country somewhat logically.

Another thing that gets me is global warming. I got an email from a friend that had all of the marks of scare tactic reporting, saying "the glaciers are melting" and all of these facts about how seals were finding the water "too warm". At the end of the message, it said "Oh, sorry, one important thing I left out was that this report was from 1920". One of the so called "facts" in the article was that coastal cities would be underwater in a few years because the glaciers would completely melt. Ha. Same sh!t they are saying again today. It's just hard for me to take anything Al "goofball" Gore says seriously. Especially after watching the ManBearPig South Park episode.

@speed dawg You're on point there man.

@AttackFormation You got it too. Of course racism still exists and it ALWAYS will (whites hating blacks, blacks hating whites, it goes every way imaginable). However, to my knowledge nobody of much importance socially is racist, or at least not openly racist. It would ruin their social standing.
Bernie is a polarizing politician. I agree with you that on the topic of social issues, he's a bleeding heart buffoon who cowers to hate groups like Black Lives Matter (by literally allowing them to hijack his event) and who perpetuates mythical lies like gender wage gaps and rape epidemics on college campuses. He should be shamed on these topics.

On the other hand, I like his views on the minimum wage, breaking up the banks, healthcare, and education. There's this myth out there that capitalism means small government, and Fox News has convinced us that anyone who wants a few changes implemented is a far-left bolshevik, Wrong - both systems, capitalism and communism, advocate a huge government overreach in our lives. Capitalism as we know it today has given us a failed war on drugs that imprisons people for nothing, illegal wars that we paid for with our taxes, and spying on Americans without a warrant.

You might say no true libertarian wants the government involved in decisions regarding healthcare or education, but if we're going to be paying between 25-39% in taxes anyway, we the people should be getting something back for it. For ****s sake, ask anyone in New York paying a $16 toll or busting up their tires in meteor-sized potholes and they will tell you we don't even get roads or bridges anymore.

The fact that the average American loses 1/3 of his check to the government and still can't go to school or the doctor is a disgrace. The fact that we're the only advanced nation on earth with no paternity leave is a travesty (we're all for dad's rights here, right?) Pointing this out isn't socialism. We've just been a far-right country for too long to realize this.

How do we pay for it all? Get out of these bull**** wars and raise taxes on the Waltons from 39% to 43%, as it was during the golden age of economic expansion. (You'll have to crackdown on off-shore tax havens to do it.) It's also time to raise the minimum wage to $12 an hour. The cost of living has gone up every year but there hasn't been a minimum wage increase since 2006. This is encouraging people to drop out and get on the dole because they know it's a rigged game. A better minimum wage will cut down on welfare.

Now that I'm off my communist fit that has probably turned you against me, let's get back to social justice. ;)

TYT has been trafficking in anti-white, anti-semitic, Islamofascist, and feminist propaganda for quite some time. If Cenk Uygur were a white man, he'd be banned from entering certain countries, ala Michael Savage. I wish the guy were more mainstram, rather than being a fat disaster banished to the internet with a merry band of yes-men where he doesn't have to debate issues. He rarely has an opposing viewpoint on his show to debate. Put him a neutral forum for one hour with Richard Dawkins, Bill Maher, Maajid Nawaz or Douglass Murray, and the guy would be forced to shut down his show and go into hiding out of pure shame & embarrassment.

He's got all the pathetic views of Reza Aslan, without the education and ability to put a bunch of fancy words together that ultimately say nothing, but incidentally convince 40% of the audience because it sounds good. This is how Aslan made a career. Cenk is all the stupidity without the charisma.

Capitalism is not a form of government. It's a description of economic activity.

Socialism is a form of government. It is state capitalism.

Crony capitalism is a form of government (the 'West's, particularly the USA).

'Social justice' is mental puke. There is no such thing.

And the world's favorite tax haven is.....

http://bernews.com/2016/01/report-favorite-new-tax-haven-usa/

The USA.

You won't get very far with this logic in middle class America. When my salary is barely keeping up with inflation, why should I want the bottom people to get that entitlement?

And the alternative is what? Keep paying people $7.25 an hour, which ultimately amounts to $6 after taxes, as the cost of living continues to rise every year? Bernie is right - that is literally a starvation wage. Then they make a perfectly logical decision to say screw this, and drop out of the rat race and collect dole money either by getting fired on purpose (to collect unemployment) or faking a disability (to collect SSD). And guilt trips about "honor" and "hard work" from baby boomers and middle class folk don't work, nor should they. This might offend you, but it's fools gold to be a productive employee in this economy when you get decreasingly less and less.

Only in a far-right, quasi-fascist country do we call a wage which keeps up with inflation "entitlements." And trust me, I'm no left winger saying this. The only thing I can't stand more than a slimy right wing hack like Ted Cruz is a whiny progressive blaming "racism" or "whiteness" for all the world's problems.

I'm curious, what do you think of unpaid "internships"? Read: free labor. Are you for corporations ditching wages entirely in favor of a really "comprehensive benefits package?" Because that's what's coming next. Currently the state of Arizona is trying to cut wages for teen employees to $4.65 an hour. Saavy? How about $1 an hour? After all, they're not "entitled" to anything.

I'm sorry that you're stuck in the middle class. It's unfortunate that you get the brunt of the ****storm no matter what, but in my opinion, you have it worse the way it is now.

Kingofpuss,
I will give you my response and number the paragraphs in order of your topics because you covered a lot of ground there.

1. They are raising the prices and automating anyway. I was at a McDonalds in France that was run entirely by machines, they just had employees there to bring you the food. It was crazy. So keeping people at a starvation wage is not going to stop that. And the talk about being "forced" to raise product prices is pure theory and speculation. It only applies if you have a CEO making $25 million who is unwilling to make $23 million in lieu of paying employees a living wage. Your argument holds water, but only if they are not willing to adjust for any profit margin. or if you have a business who is teetering on the brink of bankruptcy who is literally hanging by a thread and can't afford another penny. Most aren't in that camp - instead it's going the other way. Corporate profits have never been higher, and they're getting tighter and tighter on the employees. More workload, less pay. People are so fixated on laissez faire that they're turning a blind eye to corporate welfare! I would turn it around and ask you then, at what point do you begin to check capitalism/corporate greed by beckoning government sanctions? When people are working for free, because they already are with internship scams.

2. I've had those jobs too - about 6 of them actually. Cleaning bathrooms, unloading heavy furniture, working at a gas station, call center positions. You know, Joe Rogan had a podcast about this once that explained in detail this flawed logic that you have to "pay your dues" by doing menial and humiliating work as some sort of "rite of passage" to adulthood. These jobs didn't make me a better man. That society "needs" people to do these ghastly jobs in order to have productivity. I don't buy into this idea that garbage work is something you need to do to mature. A lot of this comes from our parents (as you cited) who worked themselves to death, are bitter about it, and now we feel a debt of gratitude to them. Screw that. Perhaps being an atheist, I understand there is only one life. There is no reward later, and so the one thing I hate more than anything in life is wasting time, which is what these jobs always seemed like. Don't get me wrong though. When I have a son, I will push him to his limits and he will not be a bedridden mooch, but the hard work will be in a field he has interest in. I'll sit him down, tell him to write down his passions, and then force him down that path.

3. On the issue of taxes, I'm actually not a high-tax guy. What I said was if we're paying 25-39% ANYWAY, we should be getting something back for it. If you're taking 1/3 of my check, get the hell out of the middle east and stop bailing out the banks with it. Instead of stealing it, use it to Improve the roads and bridges. Provide healthcare or at least SUBSIDIZED education. Do you agree that the student loan situation currently is a scandal and a crisis? OR, cut my taxes to 10% and give me nothing, but stop the BS. I'd be perfectly fine with that too. But don't take 1/3 and then double and triple tax me to use a bridge. Why do you think everyone ducks taxes? Because we have such a great system now?

4. I didn't say anything about food stamps, day care, etc. You do draw the line somewhere. Some people like to claim that once you open up that pandora's box it's a slippery slope. That's a strawman. Society always draws limits using logic. For example, the 1st amendment exists but you can't yell fire in a crowded room. The 2nd amendment says you have the right to bear arms, but you can't have a bazooka in your backyard. I believe healthcare is a right in a way WIC checks are not. But when you take the "Don't Tread On Me" meme so far that you claim the ability to go to the doctor is a "privilege" reserved for the rich and not a right, it's now theater of the absurd. The United States having the best healthcare in the world is our staunchest disagreement. I have a friend that has 2 pinched nerves in his neck, and he can't get healed. 20,000 people died every year before 2014. It is a great system if you've got a $1,000,000 credit limit though...

5. I agree that Obamacare is a disaster, by the way. Its not the answer. The premiums and deductibles are a joke, and the individual mandate is unconstitutional. If you're giving it to me free with my taxes, that's one thing. Don't force me to BUY anything. I ducked out on it in 2015. I'm 26 and healthy, and refuse to pay $300 a month with a $6,300 deductible. So let me get this straight...I pay half a rent payment and don't have $1 in coverage if I "only" accrue a $5,000 bill? So far I'm taking my chances that I won't get hit by a bus and rack up $250,000 in expenses...

6. A college degree is already useless unless you're going into medicine, law, etc. Business, economics, and liberal arts are a cartoon now. They hand those out like candy now because every one of them is a $29,000 loan that has to be repaid back.

I'm not even sure I'd vote for Bernie in a head to head with Trump. I like Bernie on kicking corporate America's ass, but Donald understands radical Islam & that political correctness is paralyzing this country's dialogue. I honestly am not sure. For the record, I'd never vote for Hillary or any Republican other than Rand Paul.

Good discussion man.

@BlueAlpha1 Good responses.

1. So you see the way Europe does it right? With the government controlling a lot more than in capitalism, so the further we move towards socialism, the sooner we get automated. Europe has an absurd length of paid vacation and paternity leave for as long as maternity leaves her in the U.S. The government enforces that. Why is beyond me. How will it help to raise minimum wage if 50% of minimum wage jobs are replaced by machines? Because I promise you that will happen as soon as min wage is increased. I'd rather have 2 million minimum wage workers making $7.50 an hour than 900,000 minimum wage workers making $12.00 an hour. Teenagers will have zero chance to be hired. Then this creates more dependence on the governement for unemployment, meaning more taxation on you and I, to pay for those who cannot find even a minimum wage job.

2. We disagree here. My neighbor across the street is a real fvck up and has never had a job. He's 26, and living in his parentsbig house with aluminum foil over his windows. He got caught with Ritalin in high school and since then he never gave a fvck. He's just mooching off of his parents and will most likely never change his ways. Why should he?

3. Agree with most of this, except I vote for lower taxes and less government services.

4. Good points there. My uncle has CP and recently had to have disc decompression surgery. Poor guy fvcked up a lot in life (he had a contract to build all USPS buildings in southern U.S. region but gambled the money away and spent it all on wh0res). So now he has no health care and no savings. He still see's a regular prostitute. I do think we should help out those with prior medical conditions who cannot get private insurance due to pre-existing conditions, but only that population.

5. Mhm. I don't have all the details from the email I got, but it was something along these lines:
This guy was a civil engineer (around 50 years old) and made a decent living. His girlfriend was a single mother who was not employed. The man was paying close to $500 a month while she was LITERALLY paying a single dollar per month. So it's discrimination. Since he worked hard and became successful, he was punished. While his girlfriend, who really didn't do anything all day, was rewarded. That's called negative reinforcement.

6. Medicine is the biggest waste. Doctors will be making scraps soon enough thanks again to beloved Obamacare. I'm going into Business Finance at Texas A&M next year. One of my friends graduated a year ago and got a job at a very prestigious business in New York. He's making $100k in his first year of employment, and by his third year will be up to $400k. Now, this is in NYC so the cost of living is absurd, but hell that sounds pretty good to me. He graduated with the same degree I'm going to get. College loans are quite a scam, but if you actually put yourself out there after college you'll find a good paying job that will allow you to pay it back slowly over a few years. I know an OBGYN who is 50, and although she makes $500k a year she JUST finished paying off student loans. Med school is the biggest rip off, IMO, as are degrees in lib arts, language, and undergrad psychology (and cultural studies).

If these kids going to college didn't get a degree in "Asain studies", they'd be able to pay off their student loans and move out of their parents basement before age 28.

I agree the candidates are extremely weak this election besides Donald. Hillary is a lying psychopath (really, she literally is one, and a massive liar / thief), Bernie is a socialist, Ted Cruz has decent policy but is so cheesy andunlikeable. I do like Marco Rubio, but I think he's still too young to be the president. Chris Christie is a fat fvck who has no political strategy except blaming Obama.

I loved the dem Ohio governer who said "Clean energy is the fastest growing industry in America" yet he doesn't speak about how expensive solar panels and windmills are. And how inefficient they actually are. And the whole electric car thing is so frustrating, as people don't see that our main source of energy (by far) is burning coal. China's looking at mandating all-electric cars, but they get almost 100% of their electricity from coal, and dirty coal at that. And here we are back at global warming.
1. I'm not saying Europe has all the answers, but I don't think we do either. If Europe is unchecked socialism, I consider us the opposite same of the same ugly coin. There is a middle ground. I'm for parental leave myself, but I'll meet you halfway on it. It doesn't necessarily have to be paid, but just like bereavement leave, employees should be allowed to take time off without getting fired during extenuating circumstances. Life happens, and the idea that as a policy we have 0 parental leave and only 3 days funeral leave is crazy to me. Sometimes you haven't even begun to plan a funeral in 3 days, much less be ready to get back to work. When my father died, my company was fair to me. They allowed me 17 days off. That was BARELY enough, but it was enough. If they had pressed me to come back on day 4, I would have quit the job without hesitation. I believe that an employee should be protected with 30 day leave by law. Then again maybe that's a job for unions and not government, but as you can see I tend to prioritize people over corporate productivity.

2. He's one guy. I can also point out guys who at 19 years old said **** college and **** getting a job to "pay dues". There were nerdy virgin geniuses in 2009 who were not working, ala sitting "in on their parents house all day", who were trading Bitcoin when it was $0.07 a share who are now deca-millionaires and getting more ass than this entire board combined. I understand they are the exception, not the rule, but it's the only way to transcend this ungodly system. You don't get rich being a cog in this awful machine. The ones who break free initially looked like lazy *******s.

3, 4, 5 we seem to have a meeting of the minds.

6. It's not always about getting a "good paying job". I scoff at the school-college-debt-marriage-house-more debt-divorce-retirement-death blueprint forced on us, all of which begins and ends with that "good paying job" you probably hate, but have you keep because you are a slave saddled with debt now. But that's a topic for another thread that transcends capitalism vs socialism.

* Funny you mention "Asian studies." My favorite pejorative to throw out there in these conversations is a "Bachelor of Science in Diversity & Inclusion." You can't make this stuff up...

On the topic of the candidates, I totally agree on Hillary. Untrustworthy and opportunistic, and has flipped and flopped more than a suffocating fish. And that's just what's going on in the public eye...forget about behind closed doors.

As I said, Bernie's white guilty complex and positions on "Social Justice" may very well stop me from voting for him.

I like Martin O'Malley and Lincoln Chaffee - too bad they never stood a chance.

the Republican ticket has been weak since 2004. I thought McCain was well principled but totally overmatched, Mitt Romney never stood a chance, and this clown car they've given us in 2016 may be the goofiest cluster I've seen yet.

Trump, for all his gaffes and non-answers, "we've got a lot planned/we'll be looking at a lot of things", is entertaining and is shaking things up.

Cruz is a right wing extremist with sweat & slime dripping off his face, but he's certainly entertaining and witty. Since Trump eviscerated Bush he's moved on to Cruz, who is more in his league in a battle of wits. I find this battle very entertaining.

Bush has embarrassed his family and should quit the race and go into seclusion right now. He has made a total mockery of himself and you can largely thank his brother for that, who made it so that even if Jeb had a potion for eternal life people wouldn't cast a ballot for a Bush again.

Christie, as you said, is a fat chest beater and the usual Johnny One Note candidate, ala Rudy Guiliani in 2008. When losing the debate, bring up the 9/11 families because you're "from New Jersey and gave them hugs." What an idiot. (Rand Paul owned him on this in one of the earlier debates. Hilarious.)

Carson is just in over his head. He should stop now.

Huckabee is there every 4 years for comic relief. He's the guy who is good for the 14 people left in the Bible Belt who vote.

I actually agree Rubio, much like Paul Ryan, has a bright future ahead of him. But he probably has to move closer to the center.

Perhaps being an atheist, I understand
Nothing.

Saying you are an atheist is like declaring that you are an idiot. Its as pretentious as carrying around a Starbucks coffee mug and thinking it somehow confers intelligence and status. The very fact that man generates an electric field and when man dies that electrical field disappears qualifies as 'life' after death. Teach your son some science before you teach him half baked academic bvllsh1t.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
