"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

In this other thread you can get some background on my situation
http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=114604

So last night i read one of her bulletins on myspace, and she says shes "head over heels in love with him". They hooked up 3 weeks ago? How is this even possible? Also, she says she wants to marry him? Yeah.

So what i want to know is what the hell happened inside her brain, because i dont want it to happen with the next girl im with. How do you go from a 3.5 year relationship, then jump to someone else and 3 weeks later say your in love with him and want to marry him. It took her 7 months to tell me she loved me. Then i told her about a month after that.

What im thinking happened is that she fabricated love to fill the void in her heart that was caused by breaking up with me. Even though she says she fell out of love with me, the feelings were still there and she just directed those feelings toward someone else. Or am i way off base here?

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

It doesn't matter. She may be filling a void and that sound plausible but after a long relationship, goin on the rebound, experiencing something new, its easy for feelings to intensify.

I don't know what your story is but I do know that she's not your g/f anymore and you need to stop obsessing with her. You need to move on with your life. Start exercising and taking care of yourself are the first steps. After a few weeks of exercising, you'll start to feel better, have dealt with the loss of someone you loved and be ready to move on.

Then get out there and start meeting new people, start approaching. Have fun and enjoy life. Why would you want to wallow in misery? Thinking about her is only going to make you sad, so focus on what you can control. Yourself. Make the most out of your life.

Why is she still one of your "myspace friends"? The relationship is finished, so cut her loose. You have no reason to keep her around.

Her new relationships are none of your business, just like your new ones are none of hers.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
