The issue of this thread is not someone is being called a racial slur...but that someone made at least $ 300K over saying it. Granted, it may not be as simple of that (ie she may have put on tears and saying how she feels unsafe in the neighbourhood but needs money to relocate to a better area for her and her child), but the point is she is taking advantage or exploiting some system and making money. The way that women make money in society can be seen as depraved, whether it's divisive may be another argument. My issue here is depravity rather than divisiveness. It's depraved for a lady to make at least $ 300K for committing a clear public crime and feeling enabled or even greatly rewarded rather than facing consequenes. You're well-aware of the fact I've posted at length about how poorly I was treated growing up because of my autism.

Yet the racial slurs I've been called by as an adult are even worse (The place I was raised was 90-something percent my own people; that's why I never got called by racial slurs growing up)

Here's where the difference lies: While getting bullied growing up for being autistic sucked, I was never at risk of dying over getting bullied for my autism as a kid. On the other hand, if a total stranger hates the mere sight of me enough to call me by a racial slur, I have valid reason to believe they seriously would murder me if given the opportunity.

Yeah, and then most of the subscribers will do what I do, and just unsubscribe. It's not a long-term model if there is no hook to keep people engaged.
